Passing by we saw a beautiful BMW 645i convertible on display. Wasnt in the market for a new car but stopped in to get the details. Jim Schultz, Sales Manager, was very accommodating without any sales pressure. Suggested a test drive and provided the keys to me. Upon return he asked if there was anything he could to sell me the car short of giving it to me for free (pleasant smile on his face). I asked if there was any flexibility in the price and he said hed be reasonable if I would be also. I made an offer, he countered with a fair response. I asked for some time to decide and he said no problem. I asked if he was going to chase me down if he didnt hear from me and he said that was not their style. I returned a short time later that day and specifically went over the details we discussed earlier. Not one single detail was changed! I told him we had a deal. The lengthy purchase paperwork was completed in a most pleasant and friendly way with Business Manager, Richard Matarrese. The overall experience was a far cry from the usual dread of buying a car. I must say it was actually very pleasant.

I called in advance and spoke with Rich DelVecchio, as I live a good distance away, and wanted to make sure that the vehicle Id seen online was still available. When I arrived, Rich was waiting, and I was able to test drive it almost immediately. This was probably the best car buying experience Ive ever had. There was no heavy-handed sales pressure. There was some room for negotiation on the price, and I felt that I got a good deal on my new Jeep, and a very fair trade-in value for my old one. I received all of the information I needed, and Rich and everyone who helped me in the sales process was very friendly. It was definitely worth it to drive nearly an hour and a half to this dealership to purchase my Jeep, and I would go back for future vehicles. Even 2 months later, I am still highly satisfied with my experience at Manahawkin Jeep.

"Waited 6 Months After Purchase To Write This."

I figured Id wait until 6 months after purchase to write up a review. When purchasing a vehicle they simply requested I write a cars.com review. Obviously everyone wants 5 stars, but I think theyve earned it. I bought a used Dart with about 34000 miles. Car was priced incredibly low compared to all the other darts on the market. More options, better features, and only issue was a minor scuff on the side view mirror (fixed with a nail brush and some paint).. Not perfect, but a very very minor blemish considering the price they asked. Sales team was nice enough, and purchase experience is the same as most other dealerships. They push warranties and other stuff once youve committed to a car, but they arent pushy in their attempt to sell you a more expensive vehicle (which happened at a different dealership when they ran my credit during the purchase of a cheap pre-owned). ~300 miles after my purchase I needed to bring it into the shop. I was not very happy at the time, as I almost broke down on the GSP, some wiring harness thats a known issue was messed up, and fixed quickly... and again 2000 miles later some cpu reset was needed. Overall.. the car itself isnt the best, but the dealership itself has been amazing. . Its rare that you run into a group of people who stay ahead of their work, and communicate well. I can honestly say their service department is absolutely amazing. Im a bit upset that the Dart has had as many repairs as my Totoya Matrix with 150,000 miles.. but the dealership didnt put the car together. They have supported me as well as I could expect in this area. The location itself is really nothing special. In fact.. most places are nicer. Dont let that deter you. It may not have much curb appeal, but its definitely worth considering. My second vehicle is at 150k miles, and Im considering this place again. Depends on whether I end up with a Wrangler or a Tacoma as my second vehicle. Either way.. dont pass this spot.. Its worth a look around the lot.

It was time to get a new vehicle. My husband and I completed extensive research online prior to test driving any vehicles. We stumbled on the Jeep Patriot. We wanted an SUV or a Crossover that was large enough to hold everything from groceries to boxes and a bike, but not so large that it felt like you were driving a bud. The boxes are important, as I am a teacher and when I work in the summer I have to transport my classroom from one building to another. Along with the work on the financial end of the deal they also came through with some minor repairs and detailing i requested. Overall a great, no hassle experience.
