I visited Kirby Subaru on a Friday morning, having briefly traded e-mails with the internet sales department. I was pretty sure I wanted an Outback, but wasnt sure whether I should lease or buy. New or used. Robert Papandrea "The Italian Guy" was on hand to assist me and we both had a great time. Hi personality was wonderful and he was very knowledgeable. He took the time to explain why leasing a 2018 Outback was a better fit for my situation, particularly since I am a first-time Subaru owner. I would experience all the benefits of the lease offered by Subaru and get a great car. It was a great experience and I highly recommend John and the rest of the crew at Kirby Subaru.

Wish Kirby had a dealership in Santa Barbara but that being said, they deliver a very customer service driven experience. I called ahead of time, and Henry did much of the transaction on the phone so that when I got there Henry Garibay could focus on a very thorough tutorial on ALL the fun and safety features of our new Crosstrek. Financing was easy despite some challenges with my credit and the finance guy was super efficient. Overall this whole transaction was really positive!

My experience with Kirby Subaru was far and away the best Ive ever had at any dealership. They quoted me the best price, had the exact car I requested ready to test drive when I arrived, and they didnt play any games or try to drive up the quote at all. Bob Thacker is a straight shooter and an all around good guy. I never felt he was pressuring me or trying to play some angle that would change the deal we had agreed on. "The Outback , Welcome To The 21rst. Century"
I originally wasnt going to purchase a vehicle until next month, but having met the sales person (Robert Papandrea), we decided to go for a test drive. He pretty much let me go where I wanted to go, some dealers have a specific route, he obviously didnt or since he was sitting in the back seat had no choice. He was informative, and explained a large shopping list of items found on the vehicle, a 2017 3.6R. We returned to the showroom and discussed pricing, options, color of vehicle, interior etc. The color and interior (forest Green with a brown interior) was a bit rare and so they (Kirby) traded one of theirs for a Green/ Brown Outback which arrived the next day from another dealership. All along Papandrea kept us entertained, informed putting the package we wanted together. Paperwork was basic and he introduced us to the various other persons involved in the purchase of our new Outback. Both my wife and I felt welcomed by the staff and the sales rep. No pressure,easy to talk to, able to answer all of our questions, both financial as well as mechanical. At the end, when we sat in our vehicle, another member of the staff walked us through the many features our vehicle had. I think we are both ready for College AGAIN. The difference between our first Outback and this one is two centuries. Welcome to the 21rst century.

Recently got in a car accident so i needed a new vehicle. I previously owned a subaru so i thought why not give them a shot. Was considering switching to honda for some silly reason. They had a used honda in stock so i wanted to check it out. As i parked i was greeted by a mr. Bob thacker who had an inviting personality. I explained my situation and he was happy to help. After seeing the entire inventory i decided to stick with the impreza. Best choice ever, its a great car and every safe. It kept me perfectly safe when i was involved in the accident so why switch cars. In the end bob answered any and all of my questions . He made the entire experience inviting and easy. I actually had a good time, it was nothing like the "dealership stereotypes " you hear about. He made everything crystal clear and straight forward. He even made follow ups to make sure everything was going well with the car and that i was enjoying it. Totally awesome. This is my second time getting a vehicle from kirby subaru. Jeff Albrizzio made our first Lease experience seamless and smooth ! We were not sure which Lease option we would take with receiving several correspondence in the mail from not just Subaru Finance, but other "re-finance" lease companies . I met Jeff during a Service appointment, he briefly explained Kirby Subaru "buy-back" program and how we could acquire a new Subaru Crosstrek with placing least amount of money down. I remembered this as our Lease Agreement came closer to expiration. I contacted Jeff to schedule an appointment, well the next thing you know, we were driving off in a new 2017 Subaru Crosstrek - Voila !!!
