I was shopping for a new 2017 Camaro that had said it had only 200 miles on it. I drove 2 hours up to this dealership after hearing how they had this car in stock with the Labor Day sale. When I got to this dealership, they let me test drive a Camaro that was exactly the same, but had 1,000 miles on it. They tried selling this slightly used car to me instead of the original car I had wanted. After talking with them, they revealed that that car I had wanted had been used for 3,000 miles and was exactly the same price as a new car. On top of this upset, their sales person named Auto didnt know how prices should work around new and used cars. He tried persuading me to buy these used cars for their new price, and at the same time, gave us a vibe that he didnt want our business there. I was looking for a fair deal, and this dealership tried selling me their worst.

Representative was not friendly - did not ask how Im doing , say welcome to the dealership,etc. I came back because my brakes still made noise and his response was that may be normal - that is wrong and I spoke to GE Fleet who provides me my company vehicle. When he gave me the vehicle back, he said he had spoke to GE fleet and they dont cover changing brakes. I called GE Fleet and they said they never received his call and further, that they did agree I should get my brake pads changed and now Im going to another dealership to get this done.

Long story short, you spend thousands of dollars in cash paying off a vehicle right off the lot, install the optional KARR security system, get treated VERY poorly by the service staff after asking questions about how the system works DIFFERENTLY than the stock system, and return home only to find that "the system has been set to a low sensitivity to avoid random alarms going off" WAS A COMPLETE LIE as it continuously goes off approaching the double digits in occurances by itself. Still waiting on any further updates from the Penske Staff concerning the return option I was offered if I was for any reason unhappy with the system (or overly expensive Green Light as it appears), we are GREATLY DISAPPOINTED in the quality of staff in Penske Chevrolet. Drove over two hours to come look at a vehicle listed online after asking for a price that the vehicle would be after tax+ licensing. Upon arriving we were helped in a relatively timely manner, considering there were about 15 or so employees on the clock. Shortly after taking a test drive in a dirty car with crumbs and chunks of food all over the floor, we decided to look past that as it would be the car for us to take home. We figured it was a new-ish listing, so the cleanliness could be taken care of. We purchased the car paying cash from the internet sales manager Michael P. The staff didnt seem too happy with that, for whatever reason, probably because they felt that they didnt accurately price the listing online according to the features it had. There were countless other almost identical listing at other dealerships for the same price; therefore. there should have been no issue. On a different note, the financing agent we worked with was the best part about the visit, he was the most personable, friendly, and accommodating member of the staff that we had a chance to work with. He persuaded us to take the opportunity to install the aftermarket KARR security system. Definitely something we regret spending the money on. After the installation the service center worker Jessica (I dont remember last name, short brunette hair) informed me that she would be the one to show me how the system works/ differences from stock alarm system. She showed me approach of rolling the window down, locking the car, then reaching inside to open the car door. That is a feature that is standard on the normal STOCK car alarm so I asked what the difference was. She decided to call service worker Jose who installed the system to ask further information, and while she was on the phone I asked if he had information as to the possibility of myself altering the sensitivity of the alarm since I was told that there was indeed an impact sensor in the system. The system did not work after hitting the car, or sitting inside the locked car and hitting the steering wheel, which Jose instructed to demonstrate any differences. CLEARLY it appears as though I was sold an overly expensive flashing green light and nothing more, when advertised to "kill the car gas pedal and functionality upon activation of alarm". I asked to speak with someone else as to determine where these missing features were and to see if a refund is necessary since they said the service worker left at least an hour before the car was finished. I was reassured that the system is set at a low sensitivity in order to avoid being set off after any car/motorcycle driving by, so I trusted Johnny Chases words and he said that if there was any issue within the week of purchasing the system if I was decidedly unhappy with the system I may get a full refund and they will pull the add-on system. So I decided to take their word that it was a sound investment and drive home. After arriving home, the alarm went off BY ITSELF at 2 AM, 535, twice around 8 AM, so i called the KARR system service number and was informed that a representative would be in contact to set up an appointment to come fix the system. Few hrs later and no updates.

For the first few oil changes, we used a national chain, but we finally tired of the high pressure sales effort for other services, and the continual, "your air filter is dirty" notice. Since we purchase our car from Penske, it seemed natural we consider trying them for this service, even though they arent nearly as close as the chain store. Im glad we did. We dropped the car off, and even used a coupon they had mailed us for the oil change. I asked what other service might be needed, and to my surprise, the answer was, we will inspect several things, but given your mileage, you probably wont need anything else. Sure enough, they completed the oil change for the discounted price, as well as the no-charge recall work, and told us all of the inspections were fine. The work was done promptly. Our service writer, Carlos Olivares, was courteous and communicated everything clearly. He even offered me a free cup of coffee when I dropped off the car, even though my ride was due any minute. Based on this experience, I dont have any worries about bringing the car here for any future service.

Hopefully i have more room to write here than in the space they give for their survey. I bought my 2013 camaro from here, everything great im excited. When they washed the car to give to me they put a dent on it. Not a big deal they promised they would fix it. I bought my car on friday and by monday i got a call to schedule my car to repair the dent. I was at work so I called as soon as i get out. No call back for a couple of days so i called back. Three weeks and four calls later i reached out to my sales rep for help. She was able to get me an appointment. I wanted to upgrade the exhaust so they scheduled their vendor to meet me the day i dropped of my car. I drop off my car at 730 and im supposed to meet with their vendor at 8am. The vendor never shows just wasted my time. Already frustrated one of the service guy comes up to me to let me know my car is ready. I go outside and its not even my car. A second guy comes out to tell me my car is in the back they are just drying it. So i wait and the first guy comes back to let me know my car is still in the back untouched and if I want to wait 15 minutes they can wash it for me. Told them forget it i just want my car and to get out of there. I let them know what happened. To make up for the inconvenience they say they will give me the upgrades I wanted at cost. I thought that was a great deal so i figured give them one more shot. I get the price quote and it seemed high for " cost" so I did some research. They actually were charging me more than what the dealer was promoting on their webpage. So to make up for all their mistakes they wanted to charge me more for my upgrades. Horrible follow up and then the final insult. Would never recommend them to anyone.
