Is there a zero star option? Even when making an appointment your car will be kept for days at a time. The only way to get updates is to call, over and over, and over. We have brought our cars in for recalls, they were kept for days and we had to fight for a rental car. Now our 2014 Escape is in the shop with leaking coolant (NOT ok in a car this new) and its already been there 4 days and they havent even diagnosed the problem yet, which means we are paying out of pocket for a rental. Luckily its the $30/day Ford dealership rate, but still. I am paying $30/day for their incompetence. If anyone wants to buy a Ford Escape let me know! :)

I made an appoint for an oil change and door latch recall a week in advance. Ford had sent me a coupon for a free oil change. This dealership would not take it, so I told them to just do the recall . The service guy tells me I have to leave my car for 3 days. Why didnt they mention this when they called me to confirm my appt. Left with nothing done. Never again @ Valencia Ford

I read alot of reviews before taking my new Ford Flex for its 1st oil change here, its my baby and i didnt want any dings, dents, chips or scratches from the work that had been done. Unfortunately this has happened before at another dealership when rotating tires and other services. So we made the appt. and they said it would take about 2 1/2 to 3 hours and they also have a shuttle to take you to the mall for shopping or lunch, which is nice for that length of time. My husband arrived and MICHAEL MANCE helped him right away. They went over everything along with all our PICKY concerns with no problems. Our car was done in under 2 hours along with the car wash still in its brand new condition. MICHAEL MANCE also accepted a great coupon from the dealership where we had purchased the car from. My man Michael did did an amazing job with the circumstances that I presented him. I told him what was wrong with my car and I told him I only had a few hours to wait because I had appointments I need to be on time to. He said "you know what, Ill see what I can do" and sure enough less than an hour later he and his team of ford technicians got my car fixed in less than an hour!!! That was the shortest and most worry free experience I have ever had at any other dealership! Outstanding job, he even called back a couple days later to make sure the issue didnt arise again. I purchased my car at Thousand Oaks Ford. I had my first service done there during the week they were changing ownership....it was not a good experience. I then took it to Galpin Ford on May 30th for an oil change. They informed me that I had an oil leak but they couldnt get around to it for 10 days. They put me on a list. The car has less than 10,000 miles on it, and I get a LIST. I immediately called you guys and you took me right in, got me a rental (not even mentioned by Galpin that I was eligible for a rental), fixed my car in time for our vacation, and off we went. I have received pretty good service until this last month. Over the last month my wife brought the 2017 Ford Fusion in a month ago to have the front electric windows adjusted because the wouldnt stay, what they did didnt fix the problem. So I made an appointment on my day off at 9:30 am. My Service Advisor was Michael Mance, I explained to him the issue and told him I needed the car back by 4:00 pm and he said no problem. I called back at 4:10 pm to see why I hadnt heard from him and he told me he was sorry, he had forgot about my car and it wasnt ready. When I left in the morning he said it would only take about an half an hour to fix the problem. He called back at about 5:15 and because my car wasnt ready when promised I lost my free ride and had to pay someone to bring me to pickup my car.

The car buying process is generally a hassle. AutoNation Ford of Valencia provides a refreshing contrast to the norm. Our salesperson, Igor, helped us purchase our new F-150 with little to no challenges along the way. The overall process was pleasant as well. All employees at the location that assisted us showed high degrees of competence, were pleasant mannered, and always happy to help.
