While shopping for new RAV4 Hybrid, had to repeatedly ask for quote which took them 10 days to prepare despite my being told it would be emailed within an hour. They were uncoordinated, disorganized, and generally unhelpful and not responsive.

I called in inquiring about a used vehicle that I saw on the Internet. And Internet sales person contacted me and informed me that they did have the vehicle but it was being prepped for sale. She said I can come in and look at the vehicle. I came in and the vehicle was not there and it was at a body shop being prepped. Then I was told that I would be receiving a call Friday to let me know the status of the car and a possible test drive. This was Tuesday. I waited for the call phone call on Friday but never received one. I got a call next week on Monday saying that the vehicle was finally ready for me to come see and test drive but I was already impatient and purchased another vehicle from another dealership. My advice is if you promise to call a customer on Friday for an update on a vehicle, at least call the customer on Friday and let them know that its not ready.

When I asked the deal through cars.com, the salesman called me and promised me they can do it. He just wanted me to go there, but dont answerany of my questions.wasted my time giving him my VIN number and all he wanted was for me to go in... "Horrific Experience At Dch Toyota"
This was the worse experience in my lifetime. I am deaf and had serious issues getting DCH to communicate properly when I first leased my car. They promised they would work on this disability discrimination but several months towards the end of my lease I was crushed to see that not only did they still have the same faults but had gotten even worse. I am in no way wanting any type of special hand held treatment; only to be treated equally by DCH Torrance. They made themselves completely unavailable to discuss another lease or buy out until it was too late. When I finally got through to someone after emailing every manager on there lot, all they did was the least they could do which was hollow sorrys with absolutely no real follow through. I even went in but no one was available, so I asked them to email me because I cannot hear the phone for that type of communication and they didnt reply. I understand that people with disabilities take just a little extra effort but to be treated this poorly was truly the most heartbreaking disappointment that Ive experienced in my entire life. I have so many great experiences with companies such as Nordstrom, Costco, Roadrunner, Volvo, Chase; that when a company such as DCH Toyota treats you this poorly, its not only a shock but inhumane. ~ Ruben Nathan Ponton

The internet Manager, Dana, went above and beyond to help us purchase our 2005 4Runner. From the first time we contacted him via internet he was most helpful. He remained in contact with us. As soon as this used 4Runner was available to view he text and called us telling us to come down asap. We rushed down to the dealership, a 50 mile trip. The 4Runner was everything we hoped and expected. Dana went out of his way to make the entire purchase process as pleasant as buying a used vehicle could possibly be. We would recommend him to everyone. Then the Finance Manger Gene was great too, he made everything clear and understandable. We want to thank Dana and Gene for a pleasant car buying experience. As far as the service, I will say that Brian Yoshida is the best. I am told what I need it is taken care of he has always been a great person to work with and the only person I will work with. I have never had any problems with him. He always greets you with a smile !!! As far as your shuttle service, I am not to please with them. I had a great experience purchasing my prius last week. I contacted Eric Aspurez on the phone prior to coming to the dealership and worked out the price. When I got to the dealer, Eric had the car ready to look at and test drive. After the test drive, I desired a better trim and Eric was amazingly accommodating. He was very nice, very knowledgable about all of the vehicles, straight forward and did not play games like other dealership. The paperwork went smooth and I was out of there with a new prius. Words can not explain how great Erick was, he was not pushy and took his time to show me different vehicles. I never felt pressured to by a car. I recommend everyone to contact Erick for a great car buying experience. ERICK SHOULD GET A RAISE AND PROMOTION!!!!! Oh and I returned to Erick 4 days later to buy another new Toyota. He is that great!!

After seeing a posting for a used vehicle, we went to dealership twice. Liked the vehicle, went home did research went back and made offer based on findings of research. The vehicle was way overpriced, even for a dealership; had to deal with different salesperson and different manager second day. Offer was turned down. After pointing out our research findings, Manager basically said in so many words that he would wait until he found a customer that didnt do quite the research that we did and who would be willing to pay their HIGH, OVERPRICED price for the vehicle. The price far exceeded the value of the car. Will never return to that dealership. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL. DO YOUR HOMEWORK before visiting this dealership.

We have two Prius from DCH Toyota. We recently moved from South Bay to Long Beach and decided to try local dealer. They claimed they could see my previous service history then proceeded to sell me a major service plus when I only needed a minor! Needless to say I am back to DCH for the honest, dependable and good service! So glad that Bryan Yoshida is there is the Service Dept. My car was ready in less than an hour! We will continue to go to DCH for all maintenance.

I am one who does not want to hassle on pricing so I got my inquiry over the Internet. Honestly DCH Torrance was not the first to respond, but when we started our e-mail correspondence, the response was prompt. When you are in the market for a car, you have a lot of questions and all my questions were responded to within 24 hours. When I was ready to buy, I gave all my specifications and the purchase transaction was seamless. Ivann Garcia & Dana Boomhower gave me such a good buying experience, I love these guys! I will definitely give them my 5 stars and recommend them to Toyota lovers like me. By the way, I bought a Prius C3 and I nicknamed it Betty. I am loving my Betty!

I purchased my 2010 Prius in March.2010. Love the car. . Sep 12,2011 @21669 miles replaced right low beam DCH Invoice 519000; Dec 19, 2011 @ 33565 miles replaced left low beam DCH Invoice 528288. I spoke with service manager. Carl Boyd. and told him I thought this was excessive and that there was a problem. He agreed that this is unusual (still under warranty0 and to call him if I had any more problems. May 20, 2013 I had the right bulb replaced by Kalispell Toyota, Kalispell, MT invoice 37252 $26.40 June, 2013 the left bulb blew out again. I spoke with Mr Boyd, or one of the service advisors, and was told to bring it in. The car was due for service so I brought in on July 3, 2013, DCH invoice 594293 and spoke with service advisor, Coby. I explained the history and he looked at the DCH invoices. He called me later and said the problem was with the wiring harness and they would have one on July 5th. I brought the car in on July 5th and the left headlight wiring.and bulb were replaced on DCH invoice 594470. I asked Coby about the right side and since it had not blown out since May 20th, I was not replaced. The repair was completed no charge (Goodwill), which ,I believe, was reasonable since the original problem was reported to them on Dec 19, 2011, within the warranty period. I believe the problem on the right side still exists and will still have to be repaired. I also believe I should be compensated for the bulb I purchased at Kalispell Toyota in Kalispell, MT. That is why I say the jury is still out!

I have been visiting DCH Toyota for over 8 years and have never had a bad experience. In the beginning, I owned a used 2001 4Runner that they kept running like it was brand new (they sent me emails recommending periodic maintenance). I would still be driving that 4Runner if I had not gotten into an accident. Since I needed another vehicle after the accident and had decided on a Toyota, I did not hesitate on visiting DCH Toyota. The entire process was smooth. The bickering over the price was very friendly with each side having to give a little. When it came to the add-ons; security system, road-side assistance, warranty, etc., the credit manager was helpful in explaining each item, while not being pushy for a sale. The entire process, from arriving on the DCH Toyota lot to driving off in my brand new vehicle took only about three hours.

Unfortunately, after the service late at night when I was driving out, my lights failed. This seems to be a problem with the Toyota Prius. Either the lights go out, or the electrical system for the headlights fail. Not sure if this is due to a malfunction in the system or..? Would appreciate a call back from the company. The service staff particularly the manager who dealt with my service needs is excellent and has always heeded my concerns. Thank you.

We were looking for a certified pre-owned Sienna. We surveyed prices and Carfax reports of all possible Siennas within about a 50-60 mile radius. DCH had the best price by far on a 2010 Sienna CE, with only 46,000 miles and perfect Carfax report (no accidents, previous private owner. etc) Saleswoman Kelly checked to make sure they still had the car on the lot before we made the long drive, and was knowledgeable about the model. The process slowed down once we decided to buy, not sure why because we were paying cash. Once we got on the radar of Mr. Hanson, the financial officer, he got us through the mounds of paperwork efficiently. Good deal and a good experience.
