I recently purchased a low mileage 2010 650i Convertible from Platinum Autohaus. It was a great experience from the first email to picking the car up last week. Andy, Neil and Miguel were all very professional and responsive to our questions and requests. As I live 2000 miles away in Illinois, I had to rely on the information presented on their web site and Neils description of the car. I agreed to purchase the car via email and the wife and I flew out a few days later. Miguel was waiting curb side at LAX when we landed and we were in the showroom 30 minutes later. The car was beautiful and the information on the web site was accurate along with Neils description of the car. We took a test drive and Neil had all the paperwork ready to go when we returned. There was never any pressure to purchase the car. So in summary, we landed in LA at 10:45 am and we were out the door heading west by 1:30 pm. Yes, it took three days but we drove the car 2000 miles back to Illinois. Utah and the Rockies were beautiful and a blast to drive, Kansas, not so much! I would also note the service did not end after leaving the dealership. I had a few questions four days later and Neil was quick to respond. I had a number in mind that I wanted for my trade in (14 Range Rover) and I went in there telling myself I would not go over the specific monthly payment that I had already come up with. Alex, who I think is the owner, showed up while we were discussing prices and got involved. We spent a few hours there and it didn’t seem to be working out (I didn’t want to go with the high payments that the bank was offering). I left and told them I would think about it over lunch. I didn’t have time to finish before they called to tell me they were able to work something out… the bank will finance it for the payments I wanted. Drove back and within 20 minutes the deal was done. My point is that these people here are genuine. I told them what I had in mind in terms of price and they respected it. No arguing and none of that pushy car sales man stuff. The professionalism here is amazing and for that reason I will recommend these guys to all of my buddies. It all starts with the owner Alex the Great, this is not a typical dealership that will keep following you around and keep pushing for a deal to point of annoyance. Staff are very helpful and will let you be relaxed and no pressures in deciding to purchase a car. Truth is the car that I purchased is one of the cheapest in all the brands and model out there and I mean SuperLuxurious Cars in the inventory. But when we need help and all, Alex made us feel like were buying his Rolls Royce or Bentley. We bought a Cadillac Escalade hybrid, very good value compared to other dealers listings for an Escalade Hybrid. Dont get me wring the car is 2009 , its not perfect as it has some signs of a typical family car usage wear. But Alex and his crew did theyre best to be so confident with our buying as they did a lot if detailed fixes and tried to keep it close to as brand new as it can be. My wife and I are shopping for her next car and wanted to check out one at this lot. We have frequented this business for years and have driven several cars from this location. We came close to buying a Porsche 993 from them but got a 996 Turbo from a privet party instead. We drove a Porsche Macan from the same lot about two weeks ago and liked it but it was the first car we looked at. I went to the lot today to drive an Audi SQ5 to compare after calling to arrange a test drive. After arriving and waiting around for 20 minuets for Alex to show up (the "head salesman") he wouldnt let me drive it. He said “unless we were going to make a deal†you are wasting my time. On June 26, 2015 I had all but given up on purchasing a used Porsche Panamera GTS for my wife. I have wanted a Porsche since I was 16 years old. It wasnt at the top of my priority list and had never happened. I am now considerably older and didnt give it too much thought. Enter my wife, who had had it with me driving my 16 year old Audi which I bought new in June of 1999. I started looking and just couldnt get excited about anything I was test driving. She encouraged me to look at a Porsche which I thought would probably cost more than I would be comfortable spending. The short story is that my friend and neighbor is an auto collector and suggested I look at Platinum Autohaus.
