"2017 Audi A4 Premium Plus Quattro 2.0t"

Started looking for an Audi A4 back in Oct.16. Exterior-Black, Interior-Black, High gloss Walnut Wood Trim, with Tech Pkg. No dice. Hoffman New London or East Hartford had plenty of A4s but not one new car met my description. Although I specifically was looking for the Premium Plus, I also kept track of their Prestige inventory online and never saw the car in that level either. Now that the 2018 models are due out soon, I believe that dealers all over New England will all of a sudden find the car that I want and start calling me. No one has yet to explain to me WHY this particular car is so difficult to order and have in their inventory.

When I first entered the dealership, I was greeted by a professional and energetic salesman by the name of Peter DeVylder. Dealing with people in business and career environments for decades, I accurately formulated my first impression of Peter as a very loyal and dedicated employee who has a sincere interest in thoroughly satisfying his customers and building his company’s reputation. It was very easy to work with Peter during my visits to the dealership; he is extremely efficient and thorough in his business administration; and his impressive knowledge of intricate automobile systems and computer interfaces sets a high standard for all to emulate. I was pleasantly surprised that the dealership even let me take a vehicle of interest for a test drive over an entire weekend; this allowed me ample time to get comfortable with it, and as a result my confidence in the vehicle and the dealership continued to grow. I received a fair price for the vehicle; and I am grateful that it was easy to come to an agreement and process all the related paperwork. When we closed the deal, I was impressed that Peter requested to have the car at the dealership for several days before I picked it up, for final prepping and detailing to ensure it met Hoffman’s product quality standards; the car was immaculate when I drove it off the lot. Peter even got in the car with me on the final day and tirelessly ensured that I was aware of all its many operational features, and called me several days later to see how I was doing. Hoffman Audi is fortunate to have a young employee like Peter with his loyalty and work ethic; I believe he is a rising star in the organization. What more can I say but my wife and I traveled over 4 hours from New Hampshire to experience the friendliest staff from management on down. This was by far worth the trip. I only wish we lived closer to have our new Audi A4 serviced here. What brought us to Hoffmans was the selection of A4s they had. I had talked to Joe the sales manger briefly before our long ride and was greeted by our sales person Peter who was very knowledgeable and polite. I purchased a used Audi A6 from Hoffman Audi of New London a year and a half ago. The process could not have been easier or more fair. The price was great and the car was mint. I had also purchased an extended warranty. When I ran into a repair problem recently, there was a grey spot and the warranty did not cover the repair. Upon hearing of this, Mr. Hoffman stepped up and paid for the repairs. I have never had such an amazing experience with a car dealership. This is the second time such a thing happened and the second time that Hoffman stood by their car. I just bought a 2012 Audi A4 and love it! Bob Cope was great and easy to work with. He was always available for questions and was patient with me while deciding between an Audi and a Mercedes. I purchased a used Audi TT from a dealer in a distant place - it came without an owners manual. When I arrived for my scheduled oil change I showed the service writer a coupon I had received from Inskip for an oil change and asked if there was anything similar being offered at Hoffman. I was told no. The service writer later told me my car needed an alignment. I told her I would schedule that service with Inskip as I also had received a coupon for that service. She did not try to offer anything to match Inskip to make the sale for Hoffman. While sitting in your service area I called Inskip for an appointment. I was tested well and my car was washed and vacuumed beautifully. I would prefer to have all service completed with Hoffman in New London as it is much more convenient than Inskip but I have not received the same level of service at Hoffman

I had an issue with the electrical in the vehicle; fuse #14 would continuously blow, sometimes in a minute sometimes in a few days. When I described the problem to Mark Stepanaitis in Audi service, because of his previous experience, he had a pretty good idea where the electrical problem was--in the drivers side seat under the leather covering. Indeed thats where the problem was! This quick diagnosis allowed a timely repair. Other issues in the car were also addressed courteously and professionally. I have confidence in Mark and was treated in a friendly and efficient way. Thank you!!
