Although I live in Lake Forest and RSM is quite a bit further from my home than Auto Nation in Irvine, I feel "at home" when I come to your site. That is because I leased my car there and the experience was not one of "high pressure" salesmen. Sanders is the one that waited on me the evening my son and daughter in law and myself came looking for a new car for me. It was divine intervention! I made my appointment this past Monday on a day I knew Sanders would be there so I could see him again. He became friends with my son and daughter and law as well as they live in RSM. Auto Nation is like a zoo! Employees friendly enough but it was not a relaxing experience the one and only time I went there several months ago.

Santa Margarita Toyota is THE best car dealership Ive ever been to. When I take my car in for service I am greeted immediately vs. waiting 20 minutes to talk to a service person, despite having a reservation. Im politely greeted, offered cold water and escorted inside. The waiting area is clean, comfortable and a great spot for me to work while Im waiting. Refreshments are available. What I appreciate most is that they will point out things on my car that are beginning to wear out, but NEVER try to upsell me on items that arent necessary.

Bad enough we walked out of dealership with a certified check, in hand, for full amount of a truck. Told by neighbor to try SM Toyota as that is where he bought his truck. Wow, what a difference. Walked out with a Tacoma OffRoad, and our son loves it. Have called back to ask a question regarding a plug on the truck, and no issue, let us find out and call you back. They did in <10 minutes. If looking for a Toyota, go see them, ask for Joe or Kevin and I think you will be pleased.

My husband and I recently purchased a 4Runner from Santa Margarita Toyota. We are from San Diego and the only dealership close to us that had the model we wanted was Santa Margarita Toyota. So we took the chance and drove 80+ miles, expecting to have to deal with the fast talking, pushy sales man. We were so wrong! Our experience there was second to none and we had the best car buying experience ever! All the staff there was extremely friendly and very laid back. My husband even said to me at one point "wow, is everyone always this nice here?" I had previously spoken to Ruben Hernandez before making the drive and he was very flexible with our schedule and willing to come to work on his day off to help us. Ruben made sure the 4Runner was washed, cleaned and sitting out front when we got there! He walked us through all the features of the 4Runner and even helped pair my phone with the truck. George, the finance manager, helped us with all the contract/financing paperwork. He was also very friendly and helpful! I cant say enough words to express how amazing everyone was during this purchase. It just made buying a new truck that much better! We would be more than willing to do the entire thing over again and we really would like to thank the Santa Margarita Toyota staff, especially Ruben and George, for making it a wonderful experience. Our next purchase will hands down be from Santa Margarita Toyota!

With 120,000 miles on my 4Runner, I needed a substantial routine service plus a few other routine items taken care of. I had been to this Toyota dealer for about 12 years on a regular basis for service, but new ownership of this Toyota dealership made me wonder how the service might be this time. After making an appointment online, I received an email confirming the appointment. Not knowing what the prices were for the requested services, I called the service department and received the desired information in addition to clarifying how long the dealer would need the vehicle. Upon arrival, I was met quickly and taken care of within 15 minutes. The complimentary shuttle service was quick and friendly and efficient, and once the dealer was done servicing my vehicle, the shuttle returned to provide a ride back to the dealer. All the requested service was done for the estimate given, and I had my 4 Runner back within 5 hours. Good job!

I went to look at the low end Toyota Corollas and ended up buying Corolla XSE. Ruben Hernandez was showing me the cars. He is very knowledgeable and friendlier at the same time he didnt pressurize me in any way to make a sale. I didnt like color of the car in front so he got the color of my choice just for a test drive; he even planned to drive 60 miles north from the dealership to get a signature of the co-owner. He didn?t go back and forth on price and financing terms, he was very reasonable and trustworthy. After my purchase, he and Bradley put a navigation app and arranged all radio stations of my choice. They even checked if my phone (Bluetooth) connection was working well. Ruben called me next day to find out if I had any questions. I would certainly, suggests anyone to call Ruben, if you don?t want to hear unnecessary features (of no interest to you) ad nauseam. Brian in accounting was very prompt, friendlier and helpful. I was pleasantly surprised to have a good car buying experience due to professional and friendlier service provided by Ruben and the team.

The service advisor was excellent, but a simple 10k service took almost 3 hours. The service dept didnt seem particularly busy, and I was told it would be 1.5 to 2 hrs. Also my car sat in the service drive for 25 minutes before I was told it was done. In fact the advisor said that they were just finishing up the wash, so I pointed out my car was already waiting for me. everyone is very nice but there doesnt seem to be much communication or hustle.
