From the price of the car you pick to the financing, everything is done right in front of you. No such thing as wait, "let me speak with the manager in the back room". No nonsense. I started my car buying journey at Motion Kia. It is in my town, so on the spur of the moment on the way home from work I stopped in. I had planned to visit several other dealers to see different car models and get prices. My sales person was Howie Weiss. He is easy to work with and not at all pushy. I test drove a Sportage and liked it. Im not an impulse buyer and said I would come back, but I got a great lease price and decided there was no need to look further. I drove my Sportage home that night. My car was detailed by Sherrod (not sure of spelling), who does an excellent job and takes great pride in his work. This was a very pleasant car-buying experience.

I came in to MOTION KIA on a sunny Wednesday afternoon. I was greeted by Mike and Bob. The overall vibe was very relaxed and they were happy to show me their selection of mid size suvs (the choice of car I was looking for). After some test drives and number crunching, I was very happy with my experience as I felt no pressure. It felt like I was hanging with some old friends.. I did not buy the first day, knowing I would be back the next day with my Dad and having to shop around and think it over. The next day, Dad and I went browsing other comparable brands, including Honda (which I have been a Honda owner for 12 years-first a civic the a crv). Anyway, none of the other places could offer what they could in manufacturing and price and customer service! It was a no brainer. They helped me get the exact car I wanted and then some all for an affordable rate and no sleezy car salesman cliche!

Im a new customer, so I dont have the basis for a full evaluation. Im concerned that sales tried to add unwanted, unannounced costs to my purchase. However, they corrected the problem when challenged. Im concerned that my tires were inflated 10+ PSI over the requirement for some reason not declared to me (or the vehicle has really, really bad sensor calibration).

I had actually contacted a different Kia service dept. before calling Motion Kia. They could not fit me in and told me my service would take hours and would be best if I didnt stay while car was being repaired. I told the other guy to forget it and I would call Motion Kia instead. Your rep answered the phone and got me an appointment the very next day. I was thrilled! I was a little disappointed that after I got there, I was told that the issue was not covered under the warranty but they took the car back to inspect the issue. 20 min later - I was told that they didnt have the part but they could order it and they layed out the repair price right there for me & the amount of time it would take to fix it. I appreciate that but... I was charged a fee to just look at the car and then given a breakdown on parts and labor. I wish they would have told me I would be charge just for looking at the car. I still need to make an appointment to come back and have the car fixed on another day. In hind sight - I think that must be why the other dealership told me it would take hours to fix the car. Probably would have still cost the same amount of money - just would have been done in one shot!
