Getting a car serviced is usually a nightmare, but not at Mitchells Land Rover in Canton. Laurie does a great job scheduling your visit and ordering parts. Check in process is slick.......left in 5 minutes with a loaner. Maintenance is thorough and of high quality. And the car is washed and dried even better than I do it myself. All this because Don and his staff "care". Don even remembers my name from servicing to servicing.....nice touch.

First, let me clarify a review I had written in the past. I mistakenly stated that Land Rover Farmington Valley did not give you door to door service. That was an error on my part...they do. I previously had never taken advantage of it since I am usually near by to drop off. So, they will pick and and deliver a loaner placing them in the same delivery and pick up spectrum as all of the other high end dealerships. I am now on my fourth Land Rover. This time, the Discovery. I thought Id like to change brands, just for something different. I wanted a mid size SUV with all the new safety features, plenty of leg room in the second row ( tall kids), and two extra seats to total seven in a pinch. Nothing else had all of those qualifications except the Discovery. My previous cars were the LR4. Those were the days of carrying lots of kids all the time. Loved that model also. My salesperson, Adrian, was incredible. She searched the country to find exactly what I wanted from the color to the specs. She is always available for any of my dumb questions or how to use the technology available. Michael came to our home to give me personal lessons and, should I need anymore, happily volunteered to return. Dylan Gengras is a first class manager who is friendly and willing to do anything to keep Land Rover of Farmington Valley clients pleased. The front desk, manned by Dave, is always a pleasure to work with. the service manager, Don, knows his business and will answer any questions you ask. So, in light of those facts, you cant beat the dealership here and I defy anyone not to fall in love with one of the Land Rover models that fit your specifications. Before you purchase a car, just give one of them a try. I think youll be very gratified.

It is a very nice environment for kids when my wife and I had been watching and checking the car and talked with seller. There is a separated sapce for kids and babies with a lot of toys, especially I must mention that they prepare kids food and drinks so that we were able to take over two hours to carefully look at the car, a used 2014 Cayenne. We are very satisfied with their detail-oriented service. In addition, the seller and their manger are very nice and easy-going to customers with patience. They introduced our preferred car step by step as per our request but neither push us to buy the car nor urge us to make a desicion immediately so we feel very comfortable to stay with them. Last, in that day we left a deposit of USD500 for keeping the car for 48hours for us to make a final decision, when we left there, the car we prepared has already stored in an unopened area so that nobody can see the car during the period. To sum up, it is a wonderful trip to negotiate with them and review the car.

Brought the old Discovery for a minor item. While it was there, I had the service department check out a burning smell coming from the engine compartment. They checked it out and determined that I have a minor oil leak that is dripping onto the exhaust. Will have that taken care of soon. LRFV is always looking out for their customers.

I discovered fluid leaking under my car, called Don in service during my lunch break to see when I could bring it in - they said now - and brought me right back home so I could make it back to work within my hour lunch break. They found the leak (half shaft seal) that afternoon and had it fixed by lunch the next day (even though I said not to hurry since I had another vehicle to use). Everyone at LR Farmington Valley is very friendly, helpful and great to deal with.

On January 20, 2014 we brought our 2001 Discovery II in for an oil change. Don Connolly, the service manager informed us prior to our leaving that the frame was rotted to the point that the Disco may not be save to drive. My husband and I then made the decision that we wanted to have the frame replaced. LRFV agreed to do the work for us. We contacted Rovers North in Vermont and purchased a new galvanized steel frame, which was then shipped to LRFV. On February 17, 2014 we dropped of the Disco to have the project begin. Don Connolly kept my huband up to date on everything, including sending emails with items that needed to be replaced and the cost. On May 5, 2014 we picked up our old girl and she looked fantastic! Jesse, who was the primary service tech on this project did a marvelous job. We are very happy to have the old Disco back looking quite new. Thank you all at LRFV, especially Don and Jesse.

I purchased my 08 Range Rover out of state. However; I brought it to Farmington Range Rover to be serviced. You would have thought I purchased it there .Don has been so helpful. From first visit, it was clear that Robert was a Rover enthusiast and not just a salesman. He and the staff were courteous and attentive. He was patient enough to explain all the many, many options and choices we had when selecting our Range Rover Sport, and Adrien was very helpful in finding the right one for us from out of state. Lease terms were a little confusing when it came time to sign paperwork, but this wasnt the dealerships fault -- just a lot of legal jargon. We havent dealt with the two gentlemen in service yet, but they were pleasant and helpful with everyone we saw at their desk during our visits.
