"The Best Car Buying Experience Ever!"

I just recently purchased 2014 Mazda 6 Grand Touring from Jason Piazza, North shore Mazda, and honestly, it has been a best car buying experience ever! First of all, My son and I came 30 min before closing time to see the car, and Jason and Chris were staying late, patiently showing us the car for another hour, after the dealership was officially closed. The prices negotiation was pretty straightforward and painless, as the car was priced just right. I was a bit nerves buying a used car, because of the recent experience with another cars dealer in Stoughton, MA, where that guy "forgot" to disclose that the car, I was looking to purchase, has been in a serious accident. Good thing that I brought the car to my mechanic, before buying it. I brought my concerns with Jason and he had no problem with me showing the car to my mechanic after all the pre-sales work is done on it. But what really impressed me was that he agreed to bring the car to my mechanic in Waltham, pick me up from there and drive me to the dealership. Everything went well as planned. The car was well prepared: the dealer replaced front and rear breaks, installed new front tires, and replaced the steering wheel. While I was in the dealership, Jason told me he could not locate a second cars remote key, so he programmed the second one. But interestingly enough, couple weeks later he called me and told he found the second key (now the third one), so he was kind enough to mail it to me :). I would highly recommend Jason, as top notch professional. Great experience!

A traumatic moment when I realized my much-loved 1997 car was on its "way out". But more traumatic was the fact that for the first time in almost 20 years I would have to face an auto salesman! However, my blood pressure dropped when we met sales consultant, Duarte Bettencourt. With a pleasant up-beat personality, Duarte was very informative, helpful and patient. Because of my advancing age, I felt that a fairly new "pre-owned" vehicle was the answer. However with Duarte Bettencourts help I ended up with a new car! It was a pleasant experience and we would certainly recommend contacting Duarte Bettencourt if you are interested in purchasing a vehicle.

"Great Almost-car-buying Experience"

For the last ten years we have owned a 2005 Mazda3 hatchback, which we have loved. It has started to show its age, so we went to North Shore Mazda fully prepared to purchase a 2015 Mazda3. Our salesperson was Matt. He was very pleasant and helpful. We took a test drive in the new Mazda3 and discovered, to our great surprise, that it was a very different car from the one we currently owned. In redesigning it, Mazda improved the exterior look (it is gorgeous) at the expense of interior room, both in the cabin and in the cargo area. We reluctantly decided that this was no longer the car for us. Matt and the sales manager, Dennis, worked very hard to come up with solutions to our issues and to find another car that might better fit our needs. We considered the new CX-3, which we liked a lot. Even though it is considerably smaller than the Mazda3, the space was more usable for us. Dennis gave us written quotes on the Mazda3 and the CX-3 which were lower than the TruCar prices we got through Consumer Reports and found really good interest rates through a credit union we already had a relationship with. In the end we decided to test a different brand, which we ended up buying, primarily due to differences in the design of the car. Even though we did not purchase the car here, we felt that we were treated with respect and the prices we were offered were really good. I cant praise Dennis and Matt more highly and would definitely recommend that anyone looking to purchase a Mazda start their search here.

I have had several bad experiences in the past with car salesmen, but I gave NS Mazda a try. I went in on a rainy Sunday and within two hours I had chosen the car I wanted, test drove it and signed papers. I worked with Diomar Fuentes (D.) and he was great! No pressure sales, explained everything and made sure I was happy before I left that day. The car needed a few things repaired before I could take it home, he stayed in contact the whole time to let me know what was going on with it and let me know when it was ready. He gave me all the slips for the work done and made sure I had no unanswered questions. Both D. and Fred in financials were amazing through everything and they made the whole experience as easy and pleasant as possible.

I was in the market for a brand new car and walked into North Shore Mazda. I was cordially greeted by Donovan Dodge, and after 3 hours I had an agreement reached and 2 days later I was driving my car off the lot (they had the model, but at a different lot). I just have to say that the experience from start to finish was painless, professional, cordial, fair, and friendly. You really cant ask for anything more when purchasing a new car. All my questions were answered and I didnt feel pressured at all. I would highly recommend North Shore Mazda (and Donovan Dodge in particular) to family and friends without any hesitation. I cant say enough about the sales staff, feel like we are old friends already. We will be because I am sold on the dealership as well as the automobile. NorthShore Mazda is a member of a small group of dealerships owned by a family from Connecticut... The Shaker Group.... I just called the dealership to get the name of the Group and Kevin answered the phone and actually thanked me by name just by remembering my voice!!! Caller ID couldnt have been the reason because I didnt call from my phone!! Now thats a person and company that I want to do business with!! And I will continue to travel from Boston to do just that! You are a person and not a number here! The incentives and programs offered by the Shaker Group are most generous and attractive!! My salesman,Jovan, is GREAT! I purchased a new Mazda 2 from North Shore Mazda at the end of July 2013. I dealt with Jason, the internet salesperson, who treated me professionally and sincerely from start to finish. I did do my homework before negotiating the deal, but both Jason and the business manager provided me with the best possible service and I came away with a great deal on the new car and a generous trade-in allowance. My first visit, to drive the car and begin the negotiations, was short and sweet, and a phone call the next day to seal the deal was all that was required. The following day I picked up the new car and left my old one with them; all the paperwork was perfectly prepared and the transaction was the quickest and easiest Ive ever experienced. The business manager didnt even try to upsell me with extended warrantees, etc., although he did indicate they were available, which I appreciated. Loving the car so far, and nothing but the highest praise for Jason and the dealership. I highly recommend purchasing from them.

Purchased a used car from these guys...First off its the same crew from the now closed "Ira Mazda"... shady tactics and all..Within 1 month I had to replace the rear brakes and rotors because the pads were so worn that they gouged both rear rotors..They wouldnt fix it because teh car was out of warranty...The brakes didnt squeak or show any indication they were worn until it was to late......My mechanic indicated that both wear indicators on the brakes were actually bent back by "somebody "so that they wouldnt squeak..A very shady tactic indeed.."NEW" dealer with the same old tricks and employees from the old Mazda dealership...Avoid..
