I had a great experience here. I am a college student that was looking for a car to get me to and from school. It was my dads idea to go to Cal West. He had been there a few times and helped my brother get a really nice used lexus there. I was a little reluctant at first because I wanted to pay cash for a car and I didnt think I could afford anything there with my budget, but luckily we were able to finance. Matthew helped us out. He is a real down to earth, laid back guy. When dealing with him he doesnt even seem like a car salesman. He seems genuine and will be honest when trying to help you find what you are looking for. Im from Marin county. Looked at 10 cars, including one from Cal west in san Leandro. Took me 3 weekends to check all these out. All the others claimed to be excellent and were a waste of my time. Needed a vehicle after my prized VW JETTA was totaled. Had no idea what type of vehicle I wanted or where to start looking. Only thing I was sure of was I didnt want a car payment. My husband brought me to Cal West Motors, having bought a car here himself several years ago. They will make sure that you are able to leave with the car that you want at the price that you need:) RECOMMENDATION Buying a car takes time and I think having a small selection of snacks and drinks, maybe coffee or tea bags... it would go a long way in customer service department.
