Bought a used car with a lien (they didnt tell me). Waited over a month for them to sort it out. They gave me the runaround time after time and never looked into it until I showed up in person unannounced. They screened calls. There are way better dealerships. Lee will pressure you into a purchase while in the same breath tell you people are outrageous for saying he does anything of the sort on reviews.

Let me provide readers with a realistic review of what you can expect when you visit Belise Nissan of West Warwick since I had an experience that I would love to share with anyone trying to narrow down where they should go buy their next vehicle. I called in a test drive for Martin Luther King Jr. day and took out an Altima with sales consultant Michael Canavan. Things went well, the car was solid feeling and at a fair price, there were some scratches all around the vehicle but they appeared to potentially be scratches that could be easily buffed out if the car were detailed up, so I asked them if they could clean up the outside to see if the many scratches could be removed. Michael Canavan obliged and said they could possible have it cleaned up by the nighttime (it was about 2pm at the current time) but I told him we were traveling from 30-45 min away so we would only be able to come back the next day (Tuesday) after 4pm. I said I would call to verify the car was still available and cleaned up. The car was for my father-in-law who was with me at the time so he took a day off of work on Tuesday to be able to go back up to see the car. Tuesday morning came and I called Michael Canavan back and left a message asking if the car was ready and I also asked 3 other follow up questions about things like “if we close the deal today, would I need to bring my own plates or would I get a temporary one” I am from out of state so I was not sure how the process worked in R.I. Five hours went by with no reply from Canavan, so I reached out to Sales Manager Brandon Potter (who I also met on the first day) and asked him the same info I left for Canavan on his voicemail. Three more hours passed and no reply from other and now it is 7pm on that Tuesday and there is only two hours left for dealer hours so I am out of luck today. Frustrated, I reached out then to General Manager Chandran Venkitachalam and he promptly replied within an hour, to my shock and amazement, he did not try to contact Canavan or Potter to find out what my concerns were and email me the answers I sought, he assumed my questions would be answered if I came into the dealership and told me to just “come in” and they would answer the questions then. I emailed him back saying my questions were the type that needed to be answered BEFORE I travel 45 min to go there so I can have with me all the proper documentation or plates I would need to complete the cash deal. Chandran then replied with a bunch of info about questions I did not ask and still, after 6 emails that day and 4 phone calls, I still had no answers to my questions and a total wasted day taken out of work for my father-in-law (who the car was for). To even assume that the dealership was very busy that day is a total joke too since I was in there on MLK day and as I sat in Michael Canavan’s cubicle for 3o minutes waiting for paperwork, I watched Sales Consultant Heleno Miranda browse online his desk computer for sectional sofas that he apparently must have been searching to buy, I guarantee his computer history on 1-18-16 about 1-2pm will show searches to furniture websites and if I’m not mistaken, he opted to go with the Earth tone color L-shaped sectional with removable pillows since that is the one I saw him marking down info about and calling on his cell about (the point of that comment is to show that there were bodies available who could have called me back in the event that Canavan or Potter were busy or absent that day since I had expressed I’d be back today to close the deal if the car was cleaned up. I have documentation in emails too of most of my claims so if anyone wants to contest the legitimacy of my claims I am ready to justify them, I even have cell video of Heleno Miranda shopping for 30 minutes. Overall the customer service can’t get anymore laid back nor can they make you feel any less important than my experience at Belise Nissan of West Warwick on 1-18-16 and 1-19-16.

I NEVER do this kind of stuff but if I can save 1 person from this aggravation then I will be happy........ Nissan of West Warwick...the WORST DEALERSHIP I HAVE EVER DEALT WITH! EVER!!!! Cant even begin to explain how unorganized, rude and unprofessional they are! Everyone passes the blame no one knows whats going on. Getting them to call back to answer your question is like pulling teeth! Once you sign the papers for that sale they are completely unavailable. To make a very long story short...my girlfriend bought a car there on July 8. They were supposed to register it within 5 days..which is the deadline for a Massachusetts residents. She never got a call or the registration in the mail, so she called them to find out what was going on. She had no idea she had been driving around in an unregistered car for over 1 week. No one bothered to inform her that there was an issue at the registry....They are all too busy! If she hadnt called she would have never known. She took the additional documents that they needed to them and they promised to get it resolved. Its been almost 1 month and its still not registered! Her first car payment is due this weekend but she is still not able to drive her new car!!! They finally offered her a rental WEDNESDAY, July 29 and she was told she would be able to drive it until everything was resolved BUT on her way home, the salesmen called and told her that his manager WANTED THE CAR BACK IN 24 hours or she would be charged! I have NEVER in my life been subject to this kind of treatment and unprofessionalism! What kind of customer service is that?! They are now blaming HER for something that THEY should have taken care of within 5 days! Do yourself a favor and NEVER GO TO THIS DEALERSHIP!

We found the car we were looking for while searching online, and drove from Maine to West Warwick to purchase it. The 10 hour round-trip drive was well worth it! We were very impressed by all of the people at the dealership, and Jeremy Washington, our salesperson, was awesome! There was no pressure whatsoever to buy, and we were treated like royalty! I dealt with John Szymkiewicz and Nick Grassini and wanted to express that they were amazing. John was nice and a pleasure to deal with. He answered all of my questions, while addressing any of my husband’s concerns. Anyone who knows my husband knows he’s a tough sale. John allowed me to take my time to decide on the purchase and when I was ready to move forward, Nick, the finance manager, completed all my paperwork and closed the deal in the same day, making sure I received the most competitive financing available. After the sale, I broke the fog light bracket. Nick ordered the part and John personally delivered and installed it for me. this is my wifes 2nd purchase here and while very happy with the sales part not very pleased with the after sales she purchased a remote start to be installed but it took more than a few calls to finally set a time and this with calls not being returned. also had a service warranty for 1st car which was traded in for new one and asked about being reimbursed for warranty not used and was told no problem they would take care of it. went up there about three weeks later to have the car checked by service and I went to sales to check on status of the warranty and was told I had to give them acopy of warranty and the pink slip of the odometer reading which they had before we left with the new car. also had to get a payout of old loan and salesman tried calling on sat feb. 21 but said it was automated and he would call on Monday the 23rd I waited until Thursday the26th still no call I called them and was told salesman was on his day off left a message on hisvoice mail to please call me called on sat the 28th said I was not happy to call me now 3;00pm no call not very happy I feel we were important enough during the car buying process but now its oh well next.just so I dont sound all negative your service dept is the best and the main reason she purchased another car just would have appreciated a call even if nothing was solved but at least to say they were trying thank you

We wanted to get back into a Nissan Murano, we used to own a 2006 (purchased at another Nisssan dealership). This was our first dealership and first day looking for our new car. We walked on the lot to an extremely friendly and welcoming staff. We were helped by a team of employees. We really liked the fact that we got to work directly with the manager, salesmen, finance director and assistant finance director. Every employee was very knowledgeable, and we never felt pressured. We were relaxed and there was never the feeling of being pushed or "harassed " to make a sale. We felt the were on our team in terms of working with us to purchase the car we wanted. We honestly felt they were happy for us and worked diligently and expeditiously to meet our needs. We were in at 4pm and out before 7pm with our beautiful car! Unbelievable! I recently leased a new 2015 Pathfinder from Mike at Nissan of West Warwick. After seriously bad shopping experiences with other dealerships in the Warwick area, I was extremely pleased with the overall experience with everyone at Nissan of West Warwick. It started with my sales rep, Mike Remy. Mike was not only extremely friendly and not pushy, but was honest about his knowledge of the car, and offered to get answers to anything he didnt know (without trying to guess and get it wrong). Besides my initial visit, I communicated a lot with Mike via email and he was fast to respond with helpful answers. I felt I was given a good deal on the car, and they did not play any games with bringing in different managers to try and close a deal at other dealers. Nick in the Finance Department made the usually unpleasant experience of signing tons of boring documents as simple and painless as possible. Mike even went above and beyond and picked me up at my house when I was ready to take delivery of the vehicle. Dont let their small exterior lot fool you into thinking they may not have a lot of cars available. They share a larger offsite lot with plenty of cars. Their location is great, right off of Bald Hill Road in West Warwick, and easy to access of I-95, Route 4 and Route 117. I would absolutely shop here for my next vehicle and will recommend the team there to anyone!

I purchased I new Sentra (2014) from Lee Grandchamp, he was excellent helping my pick out my car with my granddaughter. He was so professional, personable, courteous and just a dream to deal with so we bought the car and the deal we got was incredible. I own a 2010 Murano that I have serviced there and I cant begin to tell how satisfied I am with Nick in the service department. My Murano needed some work done to it that was under warranty so Nick said he needed the car for a week, I was taking my two granddaughters to Kittery for a shopping spree for the weekend and thought oh no were not going to be able to go but Nick gave me a loaner, my granddaughters will never forget it as they were thrilled to death we could make our annual trip. My one granddaughter also leased a Sentra before I bought mine. She had to turn her car in so I bought one for myself as another car and for her to also drive. I have to admit I am very against leased cars for an individual unless you have another car to share mileage with. I have all my service done on my Murano at Inskip and wouldnt go anywhere else and will also be having my Sentra serviced there. I have owned 5 consecutive Nissan Cars - starting with a Sentra and ending up in a Murano. The car speaks for itself, however, there are plenty of Nissan dealerships that supply service. I however, wouldnt even think of going anywhere else. Inskip has been wonderful to me. My special thanks to Nick for now years of working with him and special thanks to Lee for helping my granddaughter and I figure out how we were going to get her out of the lease and get a new car. We also got 0% financing which is huge. Thanks Inskip for your loyalty to me ................................

After a year of debating to get a new car, I finally gave in. At the time I was driving a 2005 Nissan Altima And knew that I wanted to get into another Nissan. I recently took my Juke in for a routine oil change. I was notified upon arrival that Nissan had issued a recall on the timing chain and I needed to leave the car for a couple of days. Without missing a beat, Rob Sirois, (sp?), who I believe is the service manager, had a loaner car ready for me, His customer service ethic is second to none. I realize his is just doing his job but, he does it very well and always makes me feel like he truly appreciates my business. I have been dealing with Nissan West Warwick since I purchased my car there 2 years ago. I have been extremely satisfied with all aspects but, the service side is where this dealership really shines. They make me want to continue going there and when I am ready, I will undoubtedly trade in my Juke for another from this dealership. When my car was ready a few days later, Rob was getting ready to leave as I arrived. He could have easily left and let someone else handle my transaction but he stayed and made sure I was happy. Five star service all the way around. Great Job Nissan West Warwick!!

Chris helped me get a great, very reasonably priced used car. He was the nicest guy, he took me for a test drive and even bought me a drink at Dunkin. The car was clean and in great shape with a CarFax report. There was a slight hiccup in getting me the cars title and they handled it perfectly by loaning me a much newer car for no cost.
