Although I didnt buy because the car I saw online and called for was not there when I got there. Even though they told me on the phone same day that it was there and to stop by. They didnt even know where it was. They key was on the board but nowhere to be found. Weird? Yes. Kind of amateur. But they were nice about and made it easy to walk away.

This is the second Ford Ranger that I have purchased from Kars Plus. The first was in 1998. The 96 Ranger was the most maintenance-free vehicle I have ever owned. I drove it for 18 years and it was still going strong when I was involved in an accident and the truck was totaled. My review is based on my personal experience 1 year ago and nothing to do with whatever I have read online. I just want to be fair with whoever Im leaving the review specially with Karplus which I read the reviews after I purchased and more of the bad reviews does not make sense to me and more of a buyers remorse or bad luck rather than service oriented reviews. First of all Karplus is selling pre-owned vehicles which means it is used not by them but whoever is the previous owner is. As far as I know, they get their vehicle from auction the same way all the dealership get theirs. By deciding to buy a pre-owned vehicle because you dont want to spend tons of money on a new one, you should already know the precautions you need to take before doing so. I dont blame them if somewhere along the way of owning the vehicle, you might have a bad luck and having problems with the vehicle. I believe that if you want to go the direction of blaming others instead of yourself, first you blame yourself, then the manufacturer of the car, then the owner of the car, then last is the dealer who sold it to you. Even if you buy a brand new vehicle which in my case happened to me 2 times, after the warranty expired I have problems with my steering on my 2006 Murano which I was charge by the dealer $2000 to fix it. It only has 37k miles but basic warranty is gone and powertrain is left, then at 50k miles axle had a problem that warranty covered, next is my New 2011 Pilot which below 10k miles developed a noise on the engine and a transmission shifting problem as well. These experience brought me to just buy a pre-owned vehicle which is great on value and you can still purchase an extended warranty up to the same term as what the brand new car has. Back to my experience. I was searching online and found Karplus website that promted me to scan there vehicles. I was in a market for a compact sized car for dependability and economy reasons, a car that I can just use in the valley from point A to B. Yelp also showed on the result page but did not bother to read. I saw a 2012 Chevy Cruze on their website and considering the price miles and year, its perfect on what I was looking for. I called and set-up an appointment with one of the salesperson and to tell you the truth, he was persistent on bringing me in the dealership. I gave it a shot and came the next day which is my day off. I test drove the Cruze but seems very less space for cargo. I went around the lot and they have a huge inventory. I saw a 2012 Malibu which is in my price range and fell in love with it. Went ahead and dealt with the numbers. It took a little bit because I was not planning to purchase that day. They did everything to persuade me. Import things which got them my business. 1) They showed me the Carfax. 2) The advised me to show it to my mechanic( I spend $150 for this a peace of mind). 3)Financing was great that I could not resist. 4) Last is they gave me a 3 months warranty for free if I buy that day. Overall I have a great experience and its been 1 year and my Malibu is still in great condition with only changing oils between intervals and other minor maintenance. I would definitely recommend them based on my experience. I believe that sometimes luck plays a big role in buying a vehicle whether its a new or preowned. Just be a wise buyer. Thats it.

I went to this place because I live around 3 miles from this lot and once a while I pass by and wondering when I could retire my beat up car and get into a newer vehicle. I was not expecting to get a brand new car due to my credit is not good and Im sure I will not afford payments on it, bad things happened before! As a single mom, Im not adventurous to deal with this situations. My friend accompany me late night and to cut it short. everything when well with my purchase except when I woke up in the morning that the detailing was not done right. I called and they schedule me for that reason. After a week, again in the the morning one of the tires are flat. I just got the vehicle and the tires are flat??? they could have checked the tires for nails or anything before I left the dealership???.

My husband bought a chevy express 2010 from them and they tried to scam us into believing this car is in perfect condition with no previous accidents and they upped the price on warranty 1,000. After buying the car we felt something was strange so we took the car to be checked at a mechanic shop and we discovered that the car was either salvaged or had been in a huge accident before, they tried to hide it with a horrible paint job might I add and the breaks are messed up and the car makes weird noises. We were over charged for this purchase that ended up being a huge scam! They wouldnt let us leave until we bought the car convincing us we were getting a great deal on a car that works perfectly. I wish I would have read the yelp reviews previous to our purchase because I am extremely disappointed, they scammed us and theyre not honest people they are just trying to make money off of their customers! Dont waste your time on them find another dealership! Learn from our mistakes instead of making it yourself.. Wish we could return this car. Not only that but we payed two months advanced payments ahead of time and they tried to get us to pay it again until we had to call them a bunch of times until they FINALLY found out receipt and realized they had made a mistake, their offices are unorganized and they are very unprofessional! I purchased a 2000 Toyota 4runner. Couple of years ago and still running great, although I did some minor repairs. One thing I learned when buying a used vehicle is that you have to do your homework or extra steps like getting your trusted mechanic to check everything for you. Spending at least $100 would not hurt to give you peace of mind, but this would not assure you that in the future nothing will happen. If you think differently, then just buy a brand new car.

My mom just got a 2011 Toyota corolla from Karplus last Monday. She lives in Arizona so I have to do the initial scouting of a vehicle for her. I called different dealership and I could not seem to find any vehicle that fits her budget with a newer year and low miles. Been surfing the web from and found a car here that belongs to carplus. Called the place and nobody answered. So I have to skip this dealership. After 20 mins. Someone from the dealership called back and said that they opened 9am, I called before 9am thats why. Anyways I ask the rep why there is no actual pictures of the car and the rep told me that the car is not ready yet because they got it a day before, he said they have more vehicles available if Im open to other options. I told him thats the only vehicle I want. He called me in the afternoon that the vehicle is ready. Drove there around 8pm hoping that its not late. When I arrive this place is still busy and its huge. To cut it short, everything went smooth after that. I will be driving this coming weekend to Arizona to deliver my moms new car. Thanks guys.

I have bout multiple vehicles from Karpluse. they use there in house finance company named Ontimefinance and I have never been late on a payment for almost 2 years and they refuse to report my positive credit with them!!!! Not to mention the customer service and repair site is horrible and will avoid any repairs they can. or just temporary fix on the problem!

I went to Karplus about buying a new passenger van. They were good about test driving. In my area near Van Nuys, its been tough trying to buy a used car. Sometimes the dealer wont pull the car out for a test drive. At Karplus the cars were well maintained .The one I looked at ended up too expensive to buy but it was a good experience going there. Im going to try a few more places for a used passenger van.

I showed it to my mechanic and Im very happy with the result. I wasnt looking for the cheapest deal. Cheapest are always most expensive one, my advise is compare the price, quality and do a mechanic inspected the vehicle of your choice and of course look at the size of dealership which is good to consider.

This place is very shady. I would recommend everyone to steer clear of this place unless they are a well experienced car buyer who can deal with their salesmen. For me, the whole experience was horrible. After refusing to take their ridiculous deal and stupid 6 year financing, I left to find out that the car they offered was priced at least 3k above kbb and what local competitors were offering. Now I get that they are a dealership looking to make the most money they can, but trying to convince me that I should "just buy from them because shopping around is a huge hassle and nightmare"? Thats the stupidest argument I ever heard from a manager!

Bought a truck 9 months ago and still running good using it for work. I had bad credit but the finance guy got me a bank "yehey", not the rate I expected but I guess its the way it is. They have a huge inventory and it will take you a day to decide on which. Just be a smart buyer I guess. Take it to your mechanic if your not sure. They are in the business for more than 20 yrs. and few complaints is acceptable. You cant satisfy everyone, but not in my case. I have to be fair with them. Goodluck
