My car was not running smoothly, so I took it in to the Ford Store in San Leandro. The service person told me that they would have to keep the car 5 days. I told him that I could not do without a car for 5 days, so he arranged for a rental car for me. My car was repaired in 5 days, so I turned in the rental car and was credited for the deposit and Ford paid for the rental. My car was under warranty, so I did not have to pay for the repairs.

It was my First time buying a car from a dealership. I was very lucky to find a bilingual salesman (spanish/english). He made me feel welcome and he answered all my questions and concerns regarding the whole process. I am now telling my family and friends about this dealership in San Leandro. I purchased a Ford C-Max hybrid in December 2014 and absolutely love the car. I tried the "drop-in" service for an oil change - and even though there were many people ahead of me, the car was serviced very quickly - within a couple of hours - and they did a full check.... changed oil, rotated tires, checked lights, etc. I was very pleased. I would not recommend "drop-in" service if you are in a hurry, but if you bring a good book you should be ready to leave within two hours.

Antonio and Mike from Sales were Excellent. I had some issues with a car that I purchased almost one year prior to the date of the purchase of the focus. It was not running safely and had been giving me problems all year. I came to Ford to buy a reliable care that was cost effective for my Budget. I am a single mother with a son in college and I could not afford a large monthly payment. After having my car for just over two months in service department I received it back and it still was not working. Finally Mike and Antonio sealed a deal I could not refuse. They put me in a Brand New 2015 Ford Focus. Payments were still very reasonable and most importantly the car is reliable. Thank you San Leandro Ford for coming through!!

Was very crowded the day I came in; however, Randall was very friendly, courteous and professional. The only thing was that I felt a little rushed when they were done as they said they would wash my car and apparently too busy to do that (understandable around the holidays, but a little disappointing). When dropped off before 10:30 AM appointment, we were told itd be ready around noon-12:30. When we hadnt heard by 2 PM, I called, was put on hold for quite a while, told the service person was with a customer and would call me back. At 2:30 I called again, put on hold quite a while, woman said she couldnt get a hold of the service person but she found the paperwork and it was done. Would have been nice if it was on time and wed been called earlier so we could have avoided commute traffic.

This is the third car we have bought at San Leandro Ford. The recent service was on my C-MAX. I love this car. It gets great gas milage and is comfortable. The service at San Leandro Ford is always good. The service reps are very nice and accommodating. The only issues I ever seem to have with service is the appointment center/cashier. They are usually short bordering on rude. When it is time to pick up the car they often talk with each other while Im left standing there waiting. They do not acknowledge the customer even to say they will be right with you. This has been a continuing experience. I would suggest that they take some instruction in customer service. Also it might be helpful at the time that the customer drops off the car to let the customer know where they need to go to pick up the car. Sometimes I have been told to see the cashier (who then tells me to find the service rep) or to see the service rep who then tells me to go someplace else. This needs to be addressed. Overall the service reps and other staff are very accommodating and helpful.
