"One Of The Worst Car Buying Experiences Yet"

Helped my daughter buy a Ford Focus here 5 years ago (her 1st car) and it was a pleasurable experience. How times have changed. Went there today to replace her car that was totaled last week fully prepared to make a purchase. It was one of the worst car buying experiences ever (Ive been purchasing new cars for 40 years)! Walked in with an xplan PIN number (prearranged pricing) and a list of all rebates we were entitled to. You would think that would make the purchase idiot proof. Youd be wrong. The salesman (sorry dont remember his name) must have started last week. His manager, Matthew wasnt much better and at one point was outright rude. Run dont walk to another dealer. We drove 15 minutes south to Lester Glenn Ford and purchased a 2017 Fusion fully loaded and was very happy with the experience.

"Quality Repair."
The roadside assistance that comes with a car purchase leaves MUCH TO BE DESIRED. My car lost power. I was stranded for TWO HOURS on the side of the road, and the tow service didnt show up. I then called the Oceanport police for assistance because I started feeling the effects of the heat! They followed me home. My car had re-started but the service symbols were still on my dash. Once home, I received a call from the towing company that they were on site for 15 minutes. I received an invoice via e-mail for towing charges which were charged to my credit card. I notified them that I did not get towed and they should credit my account. I have not gotten a response. After 3 calls to George Wall Service, my car was picked up from my home and taken in for service. I received my repaired car the next morning.

I had a problem with my brakes for some time. When braking they would pulsate. The front brakes were repaired and now the brakes respond like a new car.

Justin Schwartz could not have been more helpful, ordering the part (which was delivered the next morning), and scheduling an appointment that afternoon. The whole job was completed in less than an hour. I am very happy with your service.

My salesman, Joe Celli, was very patient and knowledgeable. He took me on a test drive of the model I was interested in leasing. Once we had concluded the financial steps necessary to complete the lease, he spent time going over the special features and operational details of the vehicle. Two days later he was kind enough to call me and ask about my experience and satisfaction with the vehicle.

My 2016 Lincoln MKX received its first periodic service. Everything was accomplished on time and, as far as I can tell, perfectly. My only minor comment is that, as the service department closed at 5:00 on that Saturday, and I live about 35 minutes from the shop, I would like to have received a cellphone call confirming that the work was completed, or going to be completed, before the absolute last minute before I had to leave in order to arrive prior to the shops closing. The service manager and receptionist who provided me with a very nice loaner (upgraded and lower mileage than my) MKX for the day were both professional and courteous. I would not think of going anywhere else for my Lincoln service even though the location is not ideal for me.

In the past, I have had some bad experiences with dealership service departments, but George Walls service department has restored my faith. As always, the staff was very helpful. This time, I was there for airbag replacement due to recall, which I imagine is a big job, yet the job was done in a timely manner. A loaner car was provided and my car was protected from dirt and such during the service with seat & floor covering & was returned to me in good condition.

Although there were a couple initial problems, they were immediately and fairly rectified when I went to the top and contacted the brother-ewers of this dealership. I unfortunately didnt have a great customer experience. Mike (the Greek) and Pauly (Service Manager) were wonderful. Its my experience with Matt Small that my experience went sour - very sour. His approach was not customer friendly at all - his tone, words and actions were ridiculous. He basically threw my keys at me and asked me to leave which I did. Obviously this behavior is tolerated since no other sales rep looked up or flinched at his actions. If it wasnt for Mike & Pauly calling me I would have purchased at another dealership. Great save Mike & Pauly!! I rated an 8 on if i would recommend basically because of my experience with Matt Small. If I should recommend anyone I would ask them to speak directly to Pauly. Truly sorry I couldnt give you perfect scores.
