Bill Devine, Service Department at Toyota of Milford, MA, excellent customer service. My daughters 2007 Toyota Prius broke down. She found out from Auto Zone that it was the most expensive battery that had to be replaced. About $2,000 - $3,000 for the battery, not including labor. My daughter being new to the area was so stressed out and didnt know what to do. I called the service department at Toyota of Milford and Bill answered the phone. He was so helpful, looked up the vin number and my daughters battery was covered 100% under warranty. He also informed me that she had two recalls, her water pump and something electrical that was also covered under warranty. My daughter had no transportation and Bill offered to have a shuttle pick her up and that they would also get her a rental car. Bill thought her car would not be done until Monday. He called me on Saturday to let me know her car was done so that she would not have to pay for two more days on the rental car. That is what I call CUSTOMER SERVICE!! I just purchased a 2016 RAV4 and if I lived closer to the Milford Toyota Dealership, that is where I would go to get my car serviced! Thanks Bill for helping out my daughter. We appreciate it.

Ive been fortunate enough to have worked with sales consultant Orville McKenzie on 2 vehicles in the past 3 months. The first was a purchase of a new 2015 Corolla. The second and most recent was a leas of a 2015 Tacoma. Orvilles knowledge and demonstrated expertise in both areas was helpful in determining which path would be the best route for my family. We purchased a New 2005 Highlander back in 2005. We have had it serviced at Ira since then. Recently the A/C was not working. So, my wife brought it into the dealer. They said that the system needed to be recharged. So, we had them recharge it. It worked but not too well. My wife brought it back. They said it may have a leak. They recharged it and added a dye to check for leaks. They didnt find any leaks. They then said it was the A/C control panel, over $1100. We considered this repair for two weeks and decided that the car was in good shape and if the A/C was fixed, we would keep the car. We agreed to spend the money. We had the work done. One week later, the A/C was not working. My wife brought it back in and now they say they found a leak in the condenser. We have about $1500 into this A/C repair and Ira wants about $1,000 more to fix the leak. WHAT CAN WE DO TO GET A FAIR SETTLEMENT? Tim and Kathleen Foley

My Wife had an appointment for a simple oil change at 4:00 yesterday evening. We proceeded to stand in line until 4:45 Just to get the keys taken from us. No hello, no Please sit over here, just service agents and employees shuffling past you completely ignoring you. After we had waited 45 minutes, our service technician yelled over his cubicle wall to come sit down. After trying to shake his hand and give him a greeting, which he ignored, he said, "Oil change." then we sat in silence for another addition 20 minutes, while he made a personal call to his significant other. He told her to sign her, and then we left. It was extremely cold and off putting. When we came back 30 minutes later, my wife proceeded to stand in line for an additional 26 minutes, to be told to please take a seat in the waiting area in the back of the dealership. The service tech told her that they needed to replace the engine filter and the cabin filter, which was making the squeaking noise she originally came in to complain about. A filter does not cause a squeaking noise when the heater is turned on. He told her it would be around 45 dollars each. She said she was all set and could do it herself for a fraction of that cost. Then he just walked away from her. I have never, in my entire life, treated anyone like that way, especially if you are working in a customer service position. The entire reason we drove all the way down to Milford was to get a free car wash with the oil change, which they didnt do, and then told her it would take another 45 minutes if she wanted to have them run it through because there were people in front of her. She had left without waiting to speak with the technician about what he thought about the heating squeaking, because they said it would take a little time. After she pulled her car out of the parking lot, she noticed it was idling extremely rough. I am absolutely appalled. With the kind of business we experienced god knows what was done to the car. We missed a very important appointment, thinking that we would be out in a normal amount of time if we had made an appointment for how early we did. This dealership is rude, off putting, and out to swindle you. Just because someone is a female does not mean that they dont know about cars and repairs. Very Very shady.
