Overview & Reviews
For 2010, the Mercedes-Benz R-Class gains standard 19-inch wheels and the seven-seat configuration is now a stand-alone option. There are several other minor feature changes and adjustments. The R320 Bluetec has been renamed R350 Bluetec and its engine output increased by 2 pound-feet of torque.
- Enhanced fuel economy from turbodiesel engine, space for six adults, comfortable and quiet ride.
- Long rear doors are a hassle in parking lots, lack of torque and fuel economy from gasoline V6, fussy COMAND interface, pricey for what is essentially a glorified minivan.

Fantastic car - 2010 Mercedes-Benz R-Class
By Paul - March 4 - 4:16 amReplaced GL450 (which I loved)with R350. Never realized driving would be so much fun. Mileage not great but 19 in town and 24 on the road with the second tankful! Handles very much like my wifes S500 and is just as comfortable and secure on the road. Without question its the best; most reliable, nicest appointed and well engineered Mercedes Ive had.

Clean Diesel - 2010 Mercedes-Benz R-Class
By Chris - October 12 - 4:53 amTraded in an 8 year old Odyssey and I believe this car is worth twice the $. Diesel engine is amazing, both for its frugality and drivability, coupled with the 7 speed trans it make the vehicle drive and perform flawlessly. The most comfortable car Ive ridden in/driven so far. Reminds me most of the 80/90s S-Class cars that were very solid and were very comfortable for hours and hours of driving. Softer seats than in the 08 E class. Not sure if this model will make it. No one seems to buy them. Much nicer than an SUV. Materials are 1st Rate.
