  • Best Lincoln Ever Made - 1997 Lincoln Town Car

24 MPG on highway. All controls clearly labeled - no confusing symbols. Lots of room - no bucket seats. Everything works. Beautiful design. Enormous trunk - bigger than most SUV storage areas. Long wheel base. Lots of insulation. Wonderful car.

  • Wanted one for a while. Finally got it. - 1997 Lincoln Town Car

My first car was a 84 Grand Marquis and it made me love big cars but knew the town car was the top dog in luxury cars so I wanted a Town car. Finally bought this 97 a couple weeks ago and I love it! Im 22 and everybody makes fun of me but I love it. So comfortable, plenty of power, and gets over 23mpg. It has tons of awesome features my 04 mustang dont even have. I stopped at a store yesterday and when I came out the car was smoking. Apparently the intake manifold malfunctioned and anti-freeze was everywhere. Seeing its a common problem Im not too upset. I just hope it dont cost too much to fix so I can get it back on the road and enjoy it some more.

  • Such a great car - 1997 Lincoln Town Car

I have had the car for about a month, it has been really great. It got sugared and it is still running great. I couldnt ask for a better car. Everybody loves riding in my town car. It has so much room in it, and of course everybody calls it a granny car, but its not. Its a beast of a car and I love it, people know when to move when a town car comes their way. Because they know we be rolling. Lol.

  • Buys nothing but Lincolns - 1997 Lincoln Town Car

I now have 103,000 miles on my Town Car and it is still like new. I have had no problems to date and all mechanicals are still factory original. I purchased this car to replace a 1989 Cartier Town Car that was totaled in an accident (it had 200,000 miles and was still factory fresh). The 1999-2002 Town Cars are just to ugly. I will always continue to buy Lincolns. They are inexpensive to keep. Could use more horsepower. I remember the 60s Lincolns with the 460 engine. Those Lincolns could move.

ThisTown Car has been a great car. It is my 3rd Town Car. I love them and theyre great cars to own. For the money theyre the best big car on the road and theyre very very safe. You can go well over 20,000 miles in a Town Car. They last forever .

  • Last of the Best - 1997 Lincoln Town Car

Bought our first Town Car (low mileage 91) in 97. We loved it, however, we did do major repairs on it the fourth and fifth year we owned it. I have been wanting one more of the Classic style pre 98 versions and recently found another low milage (58K) at the same dealership we bought the 91. I have never bought an eight year old car that looks and feels as "new" as this does. It is a dream to drive and in perfect condition! There is just no comparision when it comes to ride and quiet -- the smoothest ride going and this one gets over 27 mpg on the road. I feel we will enjoy this Lincoln for a long time and it was very reasonable to purchase.

  • One of the Best Cars to Own - 1997 Lincoln Town Car
    By -

Ive owned this car for 4 years, I bought it with 121k miles and now it has 165k. It has been the most reliable car I could ask for, I got rear ended and it got totaled but since the damage was almost un-noticeable I did the buy back and I still drive it. I buy crap cars to try and keep wear off of the car. Where all my other cars have failed this has been there to catch me and hold me as my only car as well as backup. I hardly ever have to maintain it, I had to change a ball joint once and just change the oil. One of the best cars ever made.

  • Quality car for the money - 1997 Lincoln Town Car

I drive about 20,000 miles a year and need a dependable car that looks good. The town car does the job for a lot less money than most of its competition. Only 1 minor problem over the last 5 1/2 years. Just get in and go in style and grace. Ill keep it until 150- 200,000 miles .

Overall this has been an absolutly great automobile, with few exceptions. One- had to replace seat track on passenger side even though the adjustments were not used more than 5 or 6 times. Rides like a dream and handles fairly well for a cart its size.

  • Princess - 1997 Lincoln Town Car
    By -

It has been a long time since Ive driven a car I really enjoy, but Princess was a true bargain for me at just 1,500. Ill never go back to a small car again. Economy vs luxury, sorry but Ive paid my dues and this car is my pay off. The body design cant be beat and once on the highway, I average 28 miles per gallon.
