By Mark - January 1 - 6:28 pmWalk around it, climb inside it, and then put the top down . YOURE HOOKED ! But then the run-flat tires ruin everything. Couldnt wait to get rid of them...and now its PERFECT !

By Greg Hamilton - November 12 - 3:56 pmI like many others have had the muscle cars and the European Sports cars, but I can tell you that this is the absolutely the most fun car to drive ever. Top up driving is quiet and luxurious while you cruise along the road with the Mark Levinson sound system surrounding you with pure crisp top quality sound. With the top down it is an experience you will never forget. Cruising down the highway at 70 mph, listening to a sound system that is as clear with the top down as it is with it up. The ride is like floating on a cloud. I wish they still made the SC430 so that i could get a new one,,but I will hang on to my 2005 at long as i can. Best car ever{{{

Quit Staring ! - 2005 Lexus SC 430
By senrveep - August 8 - 10:06 amOne week old, but this car has the wow factor of my carrera cabriolet (when IT was new). The fit and finish is awesome, the exterior lines are distinctive and elegant and the interior is simply the finest. The car is very good with the top up, but only really struts its stuff when the top is down and mechanically loaded into the trunk. If you are seriously considering this car, make sure you live in an area where you can drive with the top down 8 - 10 months of the year because you will NOT want to drive it any other way. Sweeter ride than Benz or Beemer rodies, although not as fast as an M3 or SL500, but what it lacks in off-the- line performance, it makes up for it in every other way.

I Love This Car! - 2005 Lexus SC 430
By Julieerick - August 2 - 5:40 amI test drove the BMW, Mercedes, and the Lexus convertibles before choosing the SC 430. This was an easy choice after comparing the comfort, ride, and noise levels. The SC 430 has smooth and quick acceleration, has a quieter engine, and has little road noise due to the hard top. The car handles corners and speed beautifully. Its fun to drive, is a comfortable ride with the heated seats, and the sound system is awesome. The GPS and bluetooth systems are amazing and easy to use. I think I am a Lexus driver for life.

The Tires And Rims Are The Worst! - 2005 Lexus SC 430
By MERIK R. AARON - July 27 - 5:10 pmThe car is definitely fun to drive. When the top is down, it turns heads. The hard top goes up and down like a charm. The reliability of the transmission and engine is superb. But, the tires are the absolute worst! The rims are soft metal and dent, scratch, and disfigure at every curb. One pothole and your stomach ties into knots because you know that the sensor will sound and you will need to spend between $250-$425 for one, yes ONE tire. Everyone I meet loves the car and hates the tires. Sure, you can put regular tires on the car, but where do you put the spare?? My friend just turned his in because of the tires. One curb, one pothole and I reach into my wallet.

By Lexus lover - July 21 - 2:43 amBest coupe convertible ever. More roomy than XLR or AMG 55 and better appointment and craftmanship than both of those. The cockpit is relaxed and functional. None of the convertibles tested would allow one to go down the highway with the top down and be able to talk without shouting and to listen to the stereo except the Lexus SC 430. We love ours and I am 62" and sit comfortably in the passenger seat. The passenger seat reclines to allow short naps on long trips. Not doable on the XLR or the MB AMG.

mid life - 2005 Lexus SC 430
By Peter - July 3 - 8:00 amI have had my SC 430 since 2002.This car is the best blend of pure elegence and performance. While it wont out corner a 9-11, You wont feel every dead bug on the road. A car for someone who wants to be pampered. The SC 430 is more comfortable than my ES 300. The Mark Levinson sound system is better than my in home Sony system. You will love this car! One thing: it, simply stated, stinks in the snow. With the top up there is a lot of trunk space. With it down, well, thats what the "back seats" are for. It eats gas but if thats a big deal to you, you shouldnt be looking at a 300 hp vehicle.

By Judy Konos - June 19 - 5:26 pmSimply put, I love my Lexus SC 430! It is drop dead gorgeous and commended by everyone, especially drivers on the road traveling beside me. The Amethyst color changes continually with the sun and shade and at nightfall. It hugs the exits from interstates as though there were no twists nor turns. It is extremely fast, comfortable, fun and most of all EXCITING. Lexus should be commended for all the time and effort that went into building his automobile.

By Charlene Johnson - May 19 - 6:23 pmThis car is the most fun Ive had driving since my 1963 Stingray! Its incredible comfort is the icing on the cake to its impressive power and smooth ride. The two back seats are very handy to have in a hardtop convertible although the trunk space is very adequate. One purchase Ill never regret!
