Superb handling on curvy hwy 129 in TN and NC plenty of pep in all gears. Good stability when making quick turns off hwy to another road. Responsive braking system.

I purchased this car new. I love it! One of my other cars is a Sequoia. Who needs to carry anything? This is a daily driver and I love it more than the 79 vett I used to drive or store in the garage. I have had nothing go wrong with this car and dealer in Vancouver, Wa has been excellent with routine maintenance. Best car I have owned.

This car would be great for anyone who loves fast, performance cars with out the MSRP of a Porsche. A Bonus: Several people have commented that they like my "Boxter."

This was a great little fun car. Unfortunately I recently was T-boned at over 60mph and it is now totalled. The good news is that I only suffered bruises as a result of how sturdy the car was built. The handling is excellent. Very responsive to the road and never had mechanical problems. Not recommended for people with kids due to very little storage.

The Mr2 is a great car and has been very reliable as well as a fun car to drive. I would recommend this car to anyone. I would also add that just because the Miata has a larger trunk, its not worth passing up the MR2 for.

This is a great sport car. Handles like a go cart. Great gas mileage. Most of all its a Toyota.

  • FUN - 2000 Toyota MR2 Spyder

Anyone complaining about storage or gas milage is clueless. This is a second car, and its designed to be fun - and it is! Quick without being obnoxious, very manageable around turns, ergonomic (once youre in!) and plenty of torque even at high end. Its so precise it takes a while to drive with the right touch. For 1/3 the price of a boxter (which we seriously considered) its a very cool choice.

While the car has limited storage, it is a great weekend/summer car. I love how it handles and did not purchase it to haul things, I have a 4Runner for that. It is a great second car.

This is a FUN car to drive, provided you do not have to take much w/ you! The only problem I have had is w/ the "check engine" light. It has been back to Toyota dealer some 18 times for this. Finally, Toyota replaced the computer & hopefully this will stop that pesky light. Great in the rain but terrible on ice & in the snow!

  • It,s a Sports Car!!! - 2000 Toyota MR2 Spyder

Great sports car. Not boring as a Miata has become. Could use 6th gear for hwy crusing. If you want tire wear buy a Chevy Malibu sports cars need soft sticky tires. Clutch a little soft, up- grade, easy fix. Dont see many great for resale. Takes another 7 to 10 grand more to get this much fun and its good for the ego when people ask "What is that? Its neat".
