  LOVE my Solara!!! - 2005 Toyota Camry Solara

  Absolutely love my convertible, interior is beautiful, runs smooth, looks great. One thing I dont like is where the clock is, cant see it if it is a sunny day. Another thing it would be nice if the seats raised up with a lever, I have had short people that sit in the front that can barely see out the side window. And I like to lean my elbow on the door while I drive. Other than that ..oh yeah one more thing the antenna, I have had to replace it ..on the 3rd time, be nice if it were in windshield. It is the funnest car to drive, my husband and I look for excuses to drive it on a nice day!!!

  I love this car. It is the best car I have ever had. I have a Mercedes S500 that sits in the garage while I prefer to drive my Solara.

  I have a 2005 Solara with 105,000 miles on it and I absolutely love it! Ive had the car for 5 years now and its a true head turner, there is nothing on the road that looks like it. Ive also had no major problems with the car. Im 65" & about 290 lbs and there is plenty of head room and the most leg room of any car Ive ever driven. This is without a doubt the most comfortable car Ive ever driven; including BMW, Mercedes and Lexus. The car comfortably seats 4 and maybe 5 if the three in the back are smaller people. It is great on gas mileage and the upkeep is next to nothing. The only issues that Ive had are the alignment and balancing issues with the tires that others have stated

  Overall fit and finish are outstanding. The convertible top is simple to use, quiet, and draft free. The car has impressive acceleration and excellent braking. Regular driving is a pleasure but the suspension is too mushy for serious fun in the twisties. Hard cornering can produce some real significant understeer.

  I purchased this car when the 05s were introduced. I traded my 2000 Solara convertible for it. This 05 now has 10500 miles on it, due to a few trips to Florida from Connecticut. This car is so much better than the 2000 in almost every way, no rattles, wind noise and better handling. I feel it is the best convertible out there. The build quality is comparible to my LS400 Lexus. This car was manufactured as a convertible not chopped like the 2000.

  Great, low to road driving. Hugs the road great. Gas mileage for highway is good. Very comfortable seat with manual positiong. All electric as part of standard package would be better. Great sound system. Excellent trunk space for a sport coup.

  Ive never been in a car with as efficient of an air conditioning system as this one. Cools down almost immediately after you turn it on. It is very stylish on both the inside and outside, while also being quite comfortable. The back seats are less comfortable than the front, though. Visibility can be a little bit rough because of the way the rear and side/back windows are styled. Back seat headrests also kind of get in the way. Terrific gas mileage and a very smooth ride.

  I JUST BOUGHT THIS CAR YESTERDAY, A CONVERTIBLE. MY HUSBAND HAS HAD HIS SOLARA FOR ABOUT 8 MONTHS AND LOVES THE DRIVE OF SMOOTHNESS. I DROVE A BEETLE CONVERTIBLE FOR 15 MONTHS, BUT WHEN I SAW THIS SOLARA CONVERTIBLE, I TRADED AND DO NOT REGRET IT. WONDERFUL LUX. CAR, SMOOTH AS SILK ON THE ROAD, SHARP AND CLASSY LOOKING. I HAVE THE BLACK EXT. WITH TAN LEATHER, TAN TOP. OHHHHH MY GOSH!!! SWEET!! THIS IS OUR 3RD PURCHASE FROM PANAMA CITY TOYOTA, OUR SALESMAN JJ HAS BEEN GREAT EACH AND EVERYTIME.

  Very good build quality, especially the dash. Very smooth engine (V-6 3.3L) and tranny; good power and performance with very decent fuel economy. The engine shifts very smoothly and has good acceleration. You would be hard pressed to find a better vehicle at this price.
