Better than my Corvette and turns heads - 2005 Toyota Camry Solara
By OVER - September 4 - 2:36 pmThis vehicle is beautiful, quiet, smart looking, very enjoyable to ride... and a sound system that is 2nd to none. While I could use another 50 horse power, the vehicle is very responsive, and fuel effecient... compared to my big Block 8 cyclinder chevy. I would put door guards on to prevent door dents... but the color is bright RED, and the interior is quality. I love to drive it... and so does my wife.

Just what we were waiting for! - 2005 Toyota Camry Solara
By Bryant McCrary - May 8 - 10:13 pmWe love everything about our Solara convertible except that the visibility of cars to your right is terrible, even dangerous.

Comfy, not sporty - 2005 Toyota Camry Solara
By Michael Betcher - May 8 - 5:56 pmFast enough, good-handling enough for the occasional spirited flog, but this car makes me want to drive slowly and enjoy the open-air experience rather than rush to get somewhere. The cockpit is very calm with the top down, and even more so if the front windows are up. I believe the cabin is even more quiet than my wifes Maxima when the top is up, perhaps a function of the sound-deadening quality of the fabric top. Definitely a smooth and stylish cruiser, with all the practical amenities of an everyday driver. It makes a routine drive enjoyable, and what more can you ask?

Great car and having fun! - 2005 Toyota Camry Solara
By Alamo guy - April 11 - 8:30 amJust into my 3000 miles and I love the vehicle. Comfortable driving .... good acceleration and fun with the top down on a road trip. Plent of compliments from strangers and most are surprised by the price. Biggest problem is getting my daughters from behind the wheel.

Amazing car!! - 2005 Toyota Camry Solara
By BarriBum - April 2 - 12:16 amThis has been by far the best car Ive ever purchased. It is sporty yet roomy, rides almost like a luxury car but with serious kick, and people constantly comment on how sharp it is. I will absolutely buy a Solara again...Im an author and travel to booksignings, so it was important to look good but be affordable and cost-efficient. Im getting almost 30 miles per gallon on the highway, and for the performance and gas prices these days, that has been one of the most pleasant surprises!

Solara SE Convertible - 2005 Toyota Camry Solara
By sazaman - January 30 - 10:00 amThis is a very good value for money, if you have to have a convertible. The interior is quiet with the top up. The optional sound system is not upto the mark. The car rattles moderately when hits rough roads or a pothole. Overall, a good convertible, probably the best value, can be used as a family sedan too. Luggage boot is adequate for most travels. For general day to day traveling, I liked my Honda Accord much much better. Even the acceleration of the 3.3L is not much better than a 4-cyl Accord. Road handling poorer than Accord 4-cyl. The cluth-less manual shift is good but even Kia has a better system.

My convertible - 2005 Toyota Camry Solara
By R. Christianson - January 30 - 10:00 amMy review is stated in the following two items. I dont like the way the top folds. The boot is clumsy. One cannot see out the back clearly thanks to the headrests which I have been told do not remove.
