Will buy another - 2006 Suzuki Forenza
By nw - February 1 - 4:03 pmBought new- after I "got to know" the vehicle I really like it-- its made several long trips-- Ive only changed the oil and replaced tires and a couple of headlights-approching 100,000 miles in a week or so-- when its time to replace I will buy another- it looks ok too-- Wish it were rated as a safe vehicle- Thats somewhat of a concern- but all in all very well pleased.

Just bought! - 2006 Suzuki Forenza
By KillerInstinct - November 25 - 5:13 amWe needed a small car with some features for the son, and we found it to be an attractive vehicle. The Verona looks good. It doesnt have too much horsepower, but it has a nice body style and its good on gas. The premium package has a power sunroof, alloy wheels, fog lights and remote keyless entry. Plus a big trunk for storage. If youre lookin for ecomony, this is the car, if youre lookin for power, this isnt the car. The 3yr/36,000 mile bumper to bumper and 7yr/100,000 mile powertrain warranty are great. Its an affordable car, good for first time buyers that cant really afford a whole lot. The dealership offers free tires for life. The was kinda the kicker! ) Enjoy your new car.

By hazeleyes1918 - August 17 - 10:10 pmI have only had this car for a couple months. 2 days after purchase it didnt want to start. They fixed the problem. There was a recall with the programming. Also when coming to a stop the brakes act funny. They almost give out like there is air in the line. They didnt check it, they just replaced the brake master cylinder. Also it sounds like my left rear brake sensor is chirping. Gotta take it in again. And my lumbar support on the driver seat broke. They had to replace that as well. I love the car but this is ridiculous! There is just over 16K miles on it and it is acting up already!

Drive these cars about 4,000 miles a month, under extreme conditions, snow, ice, desert heat, rough two lane roads, speeds of 85-90 for extended times and short bursts, high altitude always at least a mile. Have had several problems starting, but just kept trying and now problem has resolved on its own. Increased air intake with filter and exhaust... mileage about 31 hwy, not that great, hold button feature works well for steep grades and getting up to speed. excellent car so far, no problems needing service, passes extreme x2 test with 96

By mbrown282 - July 11 - 3:50 amAs I read other reviews, I noticed a trend. There have been a lot of issues with the Forenza. I dont disagree with any of them. I got mine with 55,000. 34 months and 55,000 miles later Im now looking for a new engine. Like a previous reviewer experienced, I too had a problem with the shift switch. Next to go was my transmission. Those were replaced under warranty. Other than that I was getting new rear pads almost twice a year. Thats until water all of sudden showed up in my oil. Despite the issues, I like the way the car rides. Call me crazy, but Im putting another engine in and driving it until the wheels fall off.

Do Not Buy! - 2006 Suzuki Forenza
By onesorrysuzukiowner - June 26 - 6:03 pmLiving on a tight budget and needing a new car, I selected the 2006 Suzuki Forenza. I bought this car new with only 63 miles on it. After owning it for three days I have had rough idling / no start problems, the engine intermittingly trying to die while driving, and warning lights that appear then disappear. Please think twice before buying this car. I have had to get spark plugs and my new cars computer replaced only now to find out there is a glitch in the software program that downloads data into the cars computer. The company says that there is no fix for my car yet I have had to be the one to DEMAND a refund. I have had to get a rental and pay for their costly insurance . This car is no value for the money. Please be wary of this car!

WARNING: WORST CAR EVER OWNED! - 2006 Suzuki Forenza
By chelbel4 - June 22 - 7:53 amI have had this car less the three years and have had over 8 major problems! Everything brakes all the time and not the regular ware and tare. The gas tank had problems, the windshield montior already went, door handle broke, the rims crack if you hit a pothole and the check engine light is always on due to default censors. Plus the dealers, service dept. and customer serivce are uncaring and unhelpful.

Car Has a Hard Time Starting! - 2006 Suzuki Forenza
By valerie - May 20 - 3:10 amI bought my car brand new in June of this year and it has been in and out of the shop for 53 days. They have put new spark plugs and a new computer and it still diont want to work. I have been just getting the run around fron Suzuki and my dealership.

Wow, lots of bad reviews here - 2006 Suzuki Forenza
By bb4t - May 10 - 11:14 amAfter driving it for a week, the clutch plate was slipping according to them so they fix it for free of course. Since then, the car has been great. I now have 95,000 miles and I literally have done nothing to it expect oil changes! My battery lasted until 94,000 miles! Sure I have issues...need rear shocks replaced, leaking a little antifreeze but hey, I aint paying for it if I dont need to. I actually prefer a small antifreeze leak, it saves me from spending hundreds of dollars flushing the system. I love driving this car with a manual. Those of you burning through tires, I do too but thats bc I like driving rough. You can get different tires with more tread if youre concerned.
