Loaded with fun - 2006 Suzuki Forenza
By bErTo - January 30 - 11:56 pmAfter comparison shopping, the 2006 Suzuki Forenza Premium w/ABS was my pick. It has a lot of headroom for my 6 body, loads of standard features, and a nice ride for an ecomonomy car. The expensive looking exterior and interior add a touch of class that make you wonder if you are driving an economy car. I love to drive it and recieve many compliments.

Good car, low price for options provided - 2006 Suzuki Forenza
By hoogie - January 3 - 1:56 pmThis has been a reasonable economy car for the money. I did experience an occassional unnerving vibration until the tires broke in. Both headlights went out at the exact same time at 20,000 miles. Replaced those with no more problems. The car is an econobox so dont expect Honda/Toyota handling and performance. The features are good but dont expect to easily fit and aftermarket stereo or speakers in the car. It was a pain, trust me. Overall you get what you pay for.

Worst car Ive ever owned - 2006 Suzuki Forenza
By jerushah - January 1 - 12:32 amI bought the car new from the dealer and have had problems with it from day one. The interior handles broke off, it rattles, jerks when put into reverse, check engine light comes on all the time, dents easily, paint started coming off within a week, have had to put over $1500 into repairs, and now I have to pump the accelerator to get the thing to start. I will never buy another product from them. The car is total junk and should be recalled.

Sad to see it go. - 2006 Suzuki Forenza
By blacktiger - November 13 - 8:07 pmBought The Frog, a Desert Green Base model 5-speed 2006 Forenza, when it was a year old with only 4000 miles for a bargain, only $9900. In only five and a half years I drove it to over 141,000 miles. The exhaust, cooling and A/C systems required no attention. Paint maintained original appearance and the car would not rust. Maintenance included changing the oil, synthetic only, filters and the rear brake pads. Suzuki also replaced a fried splice pack for the headlights, under recall. No other service or repairs were required! Everything else, including the battery, was original. I could have replaced the timing belt and continued trusting it indefinitely.

good car - 2006 Suzuki Forenza
By carreview - September 22 - 11:20 pmWe have had our forenza for a week now and love it. We have the manual transmission which i recommend(better gas mileage). We have the base model but you dont feel like you have a base car. The materials feel very nice, they dont feel cheap, the styling looks great inside and out. Very comfortable to ride and drive in. It does have a surprisingly roomy interior. The trunk space is also large and legroom in the back seat is roomy. I would recommend this car to anybody.

I Love my Car - 2006 Suzuki Forenza
By melissa - September 21 - 1:40 amSince the day the dealer showed me my 2006 Suzuki Forenza I have loved it. It gives me the feel of a much much more expensive car for less! Everything from the handling to the stero I love. The only complaint that I do have is not getting the crusie control and sunroof :( .

Poor build quality, dont buy - 2006 Suzuki Forenza
By rick_vandeven - June 19 - 1:43 amMy daugher bought a 2006 Suzuki Forenza with 22,000 miles on it in 2012. Less than a month after her purchase, the transmission selecter switch went out. This switch failed again after 8,000 miles. I stocked up this time. The car required a full tune up at 35,000 miles. The plugs were dust. I have never seen plugs look this bad in a car with this few miles. I replaced the timing belt while I was at it. I had a hunch this was the next item to fail. I just replaced the struts with 50,000 miles. They were absolute junk and would not stand on their own without the springs. Unless you like working on vehicles, do not purchase a 2006 Suzuki Forenza. Poor, poor, poor build quality.

Please Read before buying! - 2006 Suzuki Forenza
By ccmarie88 - February 18 - 11:03 amIf I can help anyone about making a decision on buying this car I will feel at least a little bit better about owning it. I have had so many problems with this car in the last year. In the last 4 months I have replaced the serpentine belt, the ENTIRE throttle body ($600), and now the head gasket which thank god is covered by warranty! I took it back for two recalls (the headlights went out and the seat belts were replaced). Its sad how much time I spend in the Suzuki dealership with this car! Now I am stuck with this car and I dont know what to do because I am completely upside down! Do NOT buy!

$4500 in repair bills in three years - 2006 Suzuki Forenza
By Bill D. - February 13 - 10:00 amI just put on the fourth set of tires in three and a half years. Just spent $1400 on struts and alignment. Door handles broke off at 50K miles. Power steering pump went out at 70k miles. I have spent enough on repairs to buy a new car, and I am still paying on this one. This $11,000 car is now a $16,000 car. I will never buy another Suzuki product of any type.
