  • Series 2 great car - 2005 Scion xA

It is very spacious inside for a big guy like me 350 pounds 62". I am very comfortable height, width, seat and belly! Car gets good mileage, I have been getting 30 to 40 (city & highway). I went shopping and was able to fit bags in back. When shopping a lot seats do go down, a good feature.

  • My new Limited edition scion XA - 2005 Scion xA

I did not like the origional version of the Scion XA, but I bought the limited edition with the rear spoiler and the different front grill. It also came in "absolutly red" which is not one of the standard available colors. Mine also has a sunroof and is a manual. It is quite and the fuel consumption gets better and better each time I drive it.

  • Yee HAH! - 2005 Scion xA

I did the research and literally bought the first one I drove. I was tired of my big old falling-apart ford explorer taking up gas, oil, and parking spaces, and felt the Scion fit in with my reduce, re-use and recycle advocacy. Its a zippy little car whos interior room is deceptive. I was delighted to fit 10 long 2" X 2" stakes into the vehicle with ease, once I put the seats down. Its light, fast, zippy, user friendly, KICK BUTT stereo and cozy. Its perfect for blasting around town in any traffic and holds its own beautifully on the highway at top speeds. Light light touch on the brakes.

  • Great Car for Newbies!! - 2005 Scion xA

Ive had this car for about 2 weeks, and Im in love with it! Its my first car, and its just what the doctor ordered. I waited to make the purchase, but I was lucky enough to get the RS 1.0 after dealing with 2 dealerships. The standard features are excellent, and the stereo is better than I could have ever imagined. The rides a little rough in spots, but its not a Camry, right? And how can such a small car have so much room for me, passengers, and other stuff? Overall, this car is the best balance of features and price I have found.

  • Great First Car - 2005 Scion xA

The scion xA was our very first new car and it has been wonderful. We have taken it on trips and it is great on fuel. It is comfortable for 2 to 4 people for traveling.

  • xA Release Series 1.0 - 2005 Scion xA
    By -

The Scion xA is economic transporation with an attitude. This review is on one of the 1550 Absolutely Red special release versions of the xA. This car is fun to drive, drinks gas from a sippy cup instead of from a can, and causes heads to turn when it drives by. Cruise control was an added option so longer trips arent out of the question, although dont pack the big bags, especially if there are four of you, because there isnt a lot of cargo space. The xA wont win any quarter mile races but it doesnt do horrible when the accelerator is mashed to the floor for passing. With its light weight, its easy to stop quickly when required. If you are looking for economy+quality+fun, it=Scions xA

I went shopping for a vehicle with my Mom--we saw the Absolutely Red Special Edition Scion aX and fell in love. I told her I would buy this little cutie. The next day she bought it! I found out then there were only so many made and decided not to wait. A month later (the dealership had to find one for me) I bought one too. I love this little car. I added keyless entry and will be adding cruise in the next couple of months.

  • Cost effective excellent performer - 2005 Scion xA
    By -

From a commuting standpoint, I find the 2005 Scion xA to be an excellent performer. The basic vehicle comes with many desirable features (AC, CD/MP3 player, etc), and the no-haggle buying is nice. The automatic transmission is very sluggish until the engine warms up, particularly around 30 mph where it tends to stick in a low gear while struggling at high RPMs. This is definitely not a car to haul people around in - adults in the back seat will feel some discomfort; however, there is a lot of room for carrying other things.

  • Fun commuter car - 2005 Scion xA

The Scion xa makes an excellent commuter car due to its gas milage. I am currently averaging 34mpg. It has adequate power for driving on the highway. I have no problems keeping up the the "big boys". I also enjoy driving it in the city since its compact size makes it very easy to manuver around traffic. Also , I was impressed with the equipment that came standard. The only option I had to buy was the automatic transmission. I would recommend this car to anyone.

  • I love my lil XA - 2005 Scion xA

Its been great. The gas milage is what I loved honestly. But its cute, has great air conditioner, and is very stylish. Drives pretty well considering the price.
