Overview & Reviews
In an effort to get buyers under 30 into its dealerships, Toyota launches an all-new division called Scion. The brand will eventually grow to three models, but for now two are offered, one of these a boxy, attention-getting vehicle called the xB. Scion will use a no-haggle sales strategy and give buyers ample opportunity to customize their xBs, drawing upon a list of over three dozen dealer-installed options.
- Massive interior for its size, unusual mini-truck styling, long list of standard equipment, comes with stability control, handles well for a budget-priced vehicle.

Splendid little box - 2004 Scion XB
By professor - April 4 - 11:13 pmThe xBox is a testament to "less is more" school. Its small on the outside but big on the inside. You must sit in it to believe it. I can take three friends to lunch in comfort and still fit in the tightest parking space with ease. The xB is splendid in its simplicity, and simply splendid. Its fun to drive and gets 30 mpg. It is a great around town car, which is what I use it for.

I took this down to college with me and could fit EVERYTHING in it without going above the rear window. It definitly surprised me!I wanted a car that turned heads and this one definitly does! I have had someone ask me where I got this car atleast once everytime I go out. Overall this car is GREAT!

Scion - A Blast - 2004 Scion XB
By Steve Lehtman - March 4 - 12:23 pmThis is the most fun Ive had driving a vehicle at this price point. It is unexpectedly peppy. The interior space is quite surprising and roomy. Gas mileage is excellent (around 30mpg). The sound system (6 CD changer) is amazing. It is like driving a huge boom box.

By bmwbiker - January 26 - 10:00 amThis car is amazing! Im over 6 feet in height and I still had plenty of room. The back seat is HUGE. I love the speedo where it is. It is right where it should be. I found it extremely easy to get used to. I love the interior space in this car. I also like the exterior. It looks alot better in real life than in pictures.

GAS, GAS, GAS, GAS! - 2004 Scion XB
By TEAMAIRFORCEONE - January 3 - 10:00 amTHE ONLY REASON I GOT THIS CAR IS TO SAVE ON GAS. I DID THE RIGHT THING. MY EXPEDITION ONLY GOT 9 MPG, BUT MY XB GETS 33 WHAT A SWITCH. MOST TIME I CANT EVEN REMEMBER WHEN I WAS AT THE GAS STATION LAST, AND ONLY $18.00 PER FILL UP. I HAD TO ADD SOME SUBS FOR THE SYSTEM. THIS THING IS SO FUN TO DRIVE, I SOME TIME CATCH MYSELF SPEEDING. LOVE MY XB.

Excellent little box - 2004 Scion XB
By ifcar - January 3 - 10:00 amLots of interior space, a lot more comfortable inside than our old Ford Escort, and even roomier for passengers than our other car, a Dodge Caravan. Unlike some people, I dont mind the center-mounted guages. Fuel economy is excellent. Toyota mechanicals mean (hopefully) that this car will be reliable. Paid only $15,000 for it including taxes and tags. Love the styling, too!
