This Year's Model Updates:

In an effort to get buyers under 30 into its dealerships, Toyota launches an all-new division called Scion. The brand will eventually grow to three models, but for now two are offered, one of these a boxy, attention-getting vehicle called the xB. Scion will use a no-haggle sales strategy and give buyers ample opportunity to customize their xBs, drawing upon a list of over three dozen dealer-installed options.

Pros:
  • Massive interior for its size, unusual mini-truck styling, long list of standard equipment, comes with stability control, handles well for a budget-priced vehicle.
Cons:

I love this vehicle. It is great drive and easy to use, especially with children. I cen get my young infant in and out with little effort. And even with the car seat in the back, we can fit two more people nicely. My husband and I get stopped everywhere. We have let numerous people sit in it and have sold people on buying one all over. They cannot believe the room and comfort. We highly recommend it.

Well so far in three weeks of owning it, I have had more fun attracting the stares, especially in Key West, where it was a real attention gettter. Fun to drive, comfortable, roomy, great gas mileage, and not a expensive vehicle to insure, all with Toyota quality. The only fret I have is to be paying for it for five years =-). But Love it!!!

A few months into owning the car and I still have to answer the usual questions about it (ie: Who makes this? Is it a hybrid? Why did you buy such an ugly car?...) Its a fun ride and offers lots of space for passengers. I was in a minor accident a few weeks after buying the car and was surprised at how quickly parts were available for such a new model.

Peppy, roomy, and lots of fun to drive. The "box" is not just for kids!! My wife and I are in our 50s - this car is a well built, solid little (on the outside only) machine!
