  • Love that Box ! - 2006 Scion XB

I was looking for something different and economical, and I hit the nail right on the head with the xB. It has a crazy amount of interior room. I love the center instrument cluster and storage that is available everywhere. It gets great gas mileage, has plenty of "pep" and handles well for a small vehicle. All of the standard features it has were a surprise. The price is an even bigger surprise.

This is the best small car Ive ever owned. It handles like a sports car, and Ive owned many. With the rear seats folded down the cargo area is huge for a car this size. The front and rear seat confort is also great even for a guy my size - Im not short and skinny. The engine has a fair amount of pull for only being 1.5 litres and I havent had a problem passing on the freeway using the solid feeling manual transmission. I also like how it looks like nothing else on the road today. I also own an 01 Mustang GT and an 05 Nissan Armada - great vehicles but they both consume copious amounts of gas.

  • Very Cool Car - 2006 Scion XB

This car is great! I love all the room inside. It is much easier to get get in and out of than other cars. Its got enough power to get ya going, but it could be better. It has a solid ride and it handles well. It gets very good gas mileage. Once you get used to it, that speedometer is really at a good place. You dont have to look too far away from the road, to see how fast youre going. Nice idea!

WOW best describes the Scion xB. It has lots of room, sufficient get up and go for a 4-cylinder car, and you gotta love that gas mileage. I got 31 mpg on the first tank of gas.

  • The Scion Xb - 2006 Scion XB
    By -

I have had 2 Scion xBs. The first one I got was in August of 2004. I sold that one and took out all my little goodies and bought another brand new one. The reason I did this was because I got tired with a black car and always needing to wash it. So i got a silver one this time. The car is great. I would think more people my age would like the Scion xB then the old guys. Its a teenagers car.

  • My Toasty is the Best! - 2006 Scion XB

Ive had my Toasty for a week now, but have wanted her for a year. I test drove Scions (as well as other vehicles) and researched them extensively. I LOVE driving her. Shes Salsa Red Pearl. The gas mileage is unbelievable and the room she has is awesome as well. I love how these cars come equipped with really cool standard features that you have to pay extra for on other vehicles. She is so much fun to drive and I love how other Scion xB drivers always wave to me. I wanted to get the Yakima racks as an option but the dealer told me the racks had to be port-installed. I installed them myself and it was a bit tricky but I recommend it for the savings vs. financing them with Scion.

  • I LOVE This BOX! - 2006 Scion XB

I wanted a car with more space for hauling and something that would get good gas mileage too. My Scion xB has exceeded all my dreams. My car is getting 35 mpg in the city! It is fun to drive; it handles great, and its visibility is amazing. Its litte on the outside (a dream to park!) and huge on the inside. I dont know how they do it but glad they did. I had a sunroof installed and love it, with the satelite XM radio, or my iPod playing through the speakers, sunroof open...it just doesnt get any better! Also, this car is SO easy to get in and out of. Senior passengers LOVE it! If you want a fun, zippy, roomy, inexpensive car for running around, I highly recommend it! I love this car. :-)

  • New Surprises Every Day - 2006 Scion XB

This car is a bargain for the price. It has many standard features and the one I purchased (thankfully) had factory cruise and arm rest (definite necessities). I bought this solely as a commuter car that is also spacious enough to get kids in and out of the car seats. There is ample room for both driver and passengers. I can average 32 mpg without a lead foot and do a lot of gliding to stops and about 28 mpg if at full throttle all the time. This doubles the gas mileage compared to my previous truck. The handling is superb and unfortunately you would expect it matched with a much peppier engine. But a larger engine would kill the gas mimleage, so thats an expected trade off.

  • Love My xB - 2006 Scion XB

I have owned my xB for one month now and I could not be happier with it. It is so fun to drive and is a real head turner. Even my Dad who bought it for me, more because of Toyotas reliability has really started to like the looks of it.

  • My Mid-life Crisis Car - 2006 Scion XB
    By -

Ive owned a lot of different types of cars through the years from fancy German sport sedans to American classics. The xB is one vehicle in which the sum is greater than the parts. No its not as powerful as some or as posh as other cars but it is fun, fun, fun. Plus other xB owners waive at each other on the road. [Cant say the same for BMW owners.] My dogs like to travel in it, I can haul loads of stuff, the standard stereo is great and I cant help but smile every time I see it. Anyone who drives one will become a believer. Only cons: miss a cruise control and outside temperature display. [Hey, my last 5 vehicles had it.] And the cloth seats hold dog hair a little too well.
