In an effort to get buyers under 30 into its dealerships, Toyota launches an all-new division called Scion. The brand will eventually grow to three models, but for now two are offered, one of these a boxy, attention-getting vehicle called the xB. Scion will use a no-haggle sales strategy and give buyers ample opportunity to customize their xBs, drawing upon a list of over three dozen dealer-installed options.

• Massive interior for its size, unusual mini-truck styling, long list of standard equipment, comes with stability control, handles well for a budget-priced vehicle.

  I got this because I could no longer drag myself out of my sports car. I cant believe the ease of entry & exit. It is fun to drive and gets plenty of looks from fellow motorists. I love the mileage I get that I no longer need to buy premium.

  Fabulous 40,000 Miles So Far - 2004 Scion XB

  The Scion xB has more head and leg room for four tall people than most SUVs. The gas mileage with the stick shift has improved from year to year. I never get less that 32 mpg now and sometimes get 35 mpg.

  Five adults go out to dinner in this car, its so roomy -- one is 65". When we go out with another couple, they always want to take our Scion. I have hip/knee arthritis, but no problem getting in and out. 93 year old mother-in-law can do it alone. Its little on the outside, but huge on the inside. It also drives/corners like a sports car -- just not low- slung. Good visibility 360 degrees. No blind spots. Toyota quality, 100% Japanese made. What more could you want?

  I bought this car when i saw it immeditaley. I drove it for 3 minutes and knew I had to have it. Come to find out, it is even more versitle than i had ever imagined. Tons of space and my huge 66" friends fit in the back better than my escalade! I get looks from everyone on the street giving me the thumbs up.

  This little car is saving me money on car paymnet, gas, and has all the bells and whistles on a luxury car. People stop and stare CONSTANTLY

  I LOVE THIS CAR!!! I have NEVER owned an automobile that I have loved this much, in over 25 years of owning and driving autos. I actually smile more and just feel better. I know that I have reliable, trustworthy transportation. I have never before washed, cleaned and Armour-Alld any auto everyday. God, I LOVE THIS CAR!!!

  This head turning box is so fun & easy to drive. My husband, 62, wasnt sure what to think when I took him to the dealership to test drive my xB. He wasnt sure if I had just lost it or was going through my second childhood. After our test drive, he was sold. A few may not like this car at first glance, but it doesnt take long for them to change their minds. For the price, there is not a car I would rather own.
