Additionally, the xB wagon offers dedicated Apple iPod connectivity, which delivers iPod display information and allows unit control and recharging through the audio system. • Ranks right up there for MPG - 2006 Scion XB

2 weeks after I bought my toaster on wheels, I went on a 1450 mile golfing trip with my golfing bud. Considering the weight of both of us, golf bags and the luggage, about 600 lbs, doing between 70 & 80 MPH through the West Virginia mountains, and running between courses, I averaged 34.5 MPG. Around home I get 36-38 MPG. Great vehicle, lots of room inside and fun to drive. Best purchase Ive ever made.

The Scion xB is a great town car for the money. It has room for everyone and split seats for those special shopping days. The interior has great head room.

  • Ban Boring! Unexpectedly Nice xB!!! - 2006 Scion XB

Fun to drive, very versatile, reliable, economical, and safe. 1. Fun: with decent tires this handles like a mini-BMW. Firm yet smooth ride, with good cornering. Noisey, but the 160 watt stereo takes care of that. 2. Its a minivan & SUV with a cavernous interior. "Ten gallon hat" headroom and expansive leg room front AND rear. Both front seats fold flat creating a double bed (dont tell your teenager), OR fold the rear seats creating a minivan cargo space. 3. Toyota reliability and smart simplification. 4. It gets 30mgh city and 34mpg highway, its True Cost to Own is among the lowest in the world. 5. Dual airbag, ABS, stability control, brake assist, and great visibility.

The xB has a great ride with super visibility. It handles well with very tight turning radious. It is easy to park in city parking slots with good road handling and comfort. It is slightly under power for high end passing on the freeway however up to 50-60 mph it has plenty of power. So far so good!

  • Love my xB - 2006 Scion XB

At first I thought the 11 gallon gas tank would be too small, but I still get over 300 miles per tank. Its comfortable and I love driving it. When the salesman suggested it to me I said I would never buy that car, then I drove it, I am very glad I did.

  • No Problems - Fun to Own! - 2006 Scion XB

Having owned many new cars over the years, this is the first that has not had to go back to the dealership for a problem or adjustment. Im tall and theres plenty of "people room", front and rear. The visiblity is great and the cornering is hard to believe - it doesnt feel the least bit tippy. Could use a bit more merging power for the highway but once going, it keeps up with high speed traffic very well. Im glad I read the reviews prior to purchase as it persuaded me to try both the stick and automatic. The automatic is significantly quieter at higher speeds and Im glad I went with it. I went with the center armrest and ipod stereo upgrades.

  • Best for the money I paid! - 2006 Scion XB

Great car! MPG could be better for 1.5L engine. I like the space, shelves, large doors and windows, all included options, seats, radio. Some important to me things I did purchase and install by myself, such as: central armrest, multiple 12v outlet, map light, trunk and underhood lights. Planning to install good (not original) fog lights. Thats it! At this point my project "Scion" will be finished. My wife loves this car as well.
