Overview & Reviews
In an effort to get buyers under 30 into its dealerships, Toyota launches an all-new division called Scion. The brand will eventually grow to three models, but for now two are offered, one of these a boxy, attention-getting vehicle called the xB. Scion will use a no-haggle sales strategy and give buyers ample opportunity to customize their xBs, drawing upon a list of over three dozen dealer-installed options.
- Massive interior for its size, unusual mini-truck styling, long list of standard equipment, comes with stability control, handles well for a budget-priced vehicle.

xB....A PRETTY GOOD BUY. - 2004 Scion XB
By DAN SHAW - February 1 - 2:00 amI ORDERED THE xB IN JUNE AND FINALLY HAD THE DEALER FINISHING PUTTING OPTIONS IN IT BY MID AUGUST. I DONT THINK THEY HAD ALL OF THE BUGS WORKED OUT OF THE DISTRIBUTION NETWORK AT THE TIME. AS FAR AS THE CAR, I AM VERY HAPPY ABOUT IT. LOTS OF ROOM (ESPECIALLY THE REAR SEAT LEG ROOM). PERFORMANCE IS ADEQUATE FOR A CAR OF THIS TYPE AND SIZE. ON A TRIP TO THE GRAND CANYON FROM CALIFORNIA WE AVG. 35 MILES PER GALLON. CLIMBING SOME OF THE 6% GRADES REQUIRED TURNING OFF THE OVERDRIVE, BUT THEN YOU COULD KEEP UP WITH EVERYONE @ ABOUT 70 - 80 M.P.H.. AROUND TOWN MILEAGE USUALLY RUNS AROUND 25 M.P.G.

Love This Car! - 2004 Scion XB
By Wendy - January 6 - 5:40 pmI have a family of four, and I am so pleased with all that this car has to offer. While the exterior of the car would lead you to believe that its small, it is extremely spacious. Its comfortable to drive. We had an SUV, but with gas prices climbing, we were looking for something more fuel efficient, yet still roomy. Its great on gas and comfort. Its also great to look at. Its really something different, and I see heads turn all the time. I would recommend this car to anyone.

My little xB - 2004 Scion XB
By jpshadow - December 26 - 10:00 amThe car has a wonderful new very unconventional design when compared to the current roundness of new cars. The car has lots of room for passengers or cargo but unfortunately not for both. Great gas mileage. Great no haggle buying experience, if you go to the right dealer.

Scion XB - 2004 Scion XB
By joday9953 - October 27 - 10:00 amRides great, gets 30 miles to the gallon in the city and 34 on the highway. Room inside is great, I have a son 62" that can sit in the back seat with the front seat moved all the way back. Its not a speed demon but has enough get up to reach highway speeds by the end of the onramp.

xb - 2004 Scion XB
By Vadim8682 - October 27 - 10:00 amall around excellent car, cant beat the price especially all the standard features you get on this car. very customizable but i wouldnt buy anything from the dealer they charge a lot more then other individual high performance stores so do your research. and dont be scared when people start coming up to you asking you what the car is or giving them a little presentation :o)
