The Sunfire remains largely unchanged for 2004. Dual exhaust outlets are no longer available as a package option, but a CD/MP3 player with RDS and equalizer now comes with the Sun and Sound package.
- Low price, torquey four-cylinder engine, optional satellite radio and OnStar.
- Ancient design inside and out, cheap interior materials, poor build quality, low resale value, poor side-impact and front-offset crash test results.

By rocky - July 3 - 10:00 amI like the way the car looks and the price is right but i worry about it lasting in the long run. The check engine light has been on about 4 times since i bought it 6 monthes ago.

First the radiator, then the transmission, then the starter, electronics in the dash, trunk will no longer open, then the radiator again, then the slave cylinder,and now it starts and idals funny. Iam not impressed at all with this car, it is a total lemon and Iam not the only person that has had problems with their car as well, alot of other people have had problems as well.

By debmdine - January 18 - 2:00 amThe Sunfire is a great car. The problems I have with it is I feel very cramped up in the car, the seat is uncomfortable to me, and the road noise is terrible. Great gas Mileage though.

By Liner56 - December 13 - 10:00 amThe Sunfire is a great car from my experiences so far. It is very responsive when it needs to be and is a smooth ride. Performs well on highway and in the city. It gets good gas mileage (26mpg city; 32mpg hgwy). The 6 speaker sound system is very impressive. I am very pleased with its performance to date. Highly recommended buy.

Great Car! - 2004 Pontiac Sunfire

Its very comfortable and has great interior features. I love they body style of the car, its very small ,not big and bulky.
