Aurora - Keep these around! - 2002 Oldsmobile Aurora
By Photeus - December 16 - 6:33 pmAfter a year in the 3.5 Aurora, It loks and feels brand new. I have had no problems of any type with this vehicle. It is quick off the line, and holds its own at highway speeds, never leaving you wanting for passing power. I hope that another line picks up this car when Olds tosses in the towel. It is the only thing worth salvaging in their line. I had an Intrigue and will never step down again from the quality of this car.

An American Beauty - 2002 Oldsmobile Aurora
By PetesBuckeye - December 5 - 10:00 amMy wife and I drive 62 miles round trip every day. Our previous 97 Bonneville was ok, but this car pampers. We have the navigation radio which is really cool and helpful. Likewise personal calling and OnStar. There is a small amount of wind noise as others have pointed out, but it is not very noticeable and I wonder if those complaining dont need to have adjustments. (Or maybe the 02s are improved in that area.) Go for it.

Olds aurora - 2001 Oldsmobile Aurora
By Terry Roth - December 1 - 2:00 amThis car has a nice luxurious feel about it without being your daddys oldsmobile. It fits nice, drives great and keeps up its appearance and does not get boring to drive into your second, third or fourth year owning it. I wish my 3.5 6-cyl had a bit more spunk but the upside is that it has great gas mileage. I havent had any major problems with the car until the 3rd year where little minor things started to act up.

Love the Drive - 2002 Oldsmobile Aurora
By robamra - November 23 - 2:00 amI drive a lot of highway miles. This car has given me comfort and pride. I have had no problems in any type of weather that I have encurred while driving. I live in NorthEast Indiana and the drives to the New York, Chicago, Cincinatti, Detroit, and others have been relaxing without problems. The gas milage hasnt been bad at all either!

Best All Around Driver - 1999 Oldsmobile Aurora
By chilshock - October 9 - 10:46 amI bought this car brand new in 1999 and now have 191,000 miles on it. I drive it actually pretty hard and it has never let me down. It has awesome acceleration and reliablity too. The only things Ive had to have replace were the water pump at 120,000 miles and the radiator at 180,000. The front breaks were changed about every 70,000 miles (Im on my third set in the front and the original rear breaks lasted until about 110,000 - Im on my second set now. The spark plug wires were changed at 150,000 miles at the suggestion of the dealership. Im actually still on the same battery (I thought at first it was a dumb idea to put it under the back seat Im starting to re-think that, it has helped it last). It started at -17 F after sitting two days in sub-zero this week.

drive and enjoy - 1999 Oldsmobile Aurora
By Rob Ohio - September 30 - 10:00 amIf you want a great car to enjoy riding in then this is the one. Great engine and body style. The 95 -2000 models are much nicer than the new style.

Subtle Elegance - 2002 Oldsmobile Aurora
By John Klika - July 24 - 10:00 amI have had the vehicle for just over a year now and it has performed perfectly from day one. I traded another 2001 GM vehicle for the Aurora because the Regal had a driver seat with zero comfort. The Aurora seat with its lumbar support has provided super comfort on my 60 mile drive to work. Also, who can complain of the 26 mpg hwy. fuel mileage that I am getting? I have grown to really look forward to every day when I can drive the car.

1998 Olds Aurora - 1998 Oldsmobile Aurora
By David Kehne - June 18 - 9:36 amThis is a great car to have for just plain comfort and getting groups of five adults around. The style still turns heads even if it looks a bit overgrown by todays standards. The Northstar-inspired engine still burns rubber and the rear seat, not that Ive travelled while there, is one of the most comfortable ever put in a sedan. This car is a great one to have in addition (or instead) of an SUV. The trunk is large but the size of its opening does present some limits.
