This Year's Model Updates:

Crew cab models receive a standard power up/down rear window with defroster, while all models get a tailgate with dampened assist. Other changes include new active head restraints for the driver and front passenger, new badging on the front doors and a unique wheel finish for SE models. The LE receives brushed aluminum interior trim accents and a leather-appointed bench seat is available in place of the buckets. The popular spray-in bedliner is now available as a stand-alone option on the XE.

Pros:
  • One of the best drivetrains in its class, smooth-riding suspension, spacious and functional cabin, innovative design features, available stability control and side airbags.
Cons:
  • Limited drivetrain and body style choices, no heavy-duty models, burly exhaust note can get annoying on long drives.

We have had this truck almost 3 years. We have had chevy, ford and the original nissan smaller pick-ups. We bought it due to our experience with Nissan reliability and to replace a mini van. We bought the crew cab due to have 4 man-sized teenage boys. All 6 of us fix VERY comfortably. The back seating are is large with a lot of leg room. We have over 75k miles and not a single problem thus far! Of course, gas mileage is always an issue with vehicles like this

This truck rides extremely well and very fast. Point A to Point B is no time at all even in long trips. The interior is comfortable once you adjust the seats properly. I havent used all the features. The truck is really worth the money. You are not going to get 30 miles a gallon out of a v8 truck. The gas prices just need to be lowered again. The truck roars with ambition for the open road. The gas pedal does not need to be pressed much for a response. It has a sports car heart with the utility of a truck. I get nice comments from everyone about my truck. The buying experience was very simple at the dealership. I look forward to nissans diesel trucks because of these Titans.

Great truck! Just purchased it, I looked at and test drove Chevy Ford and Dodge but The Titan rides and handles better. The interior is excellent, I choose the popular bench seat for the room and comfort. Lots of storage for sunglasses and CDs or anything else.

Most comfortable truck Ive ever owned but the problems are something I never expected from a Nissan..Four wheel drive snapped at 64,000 miles ( just out of warranty) brakes are terrible..truck shimmies...tailpipe & hitch rusted...unbelievable for all the more miles on this vehicle.Paint chips easily..I am going to be purchasing another truck and it most definitely will not be a Nissan..Very disappointed..I was under the impression that a Nissan would last for a long time..The only good points are the interior comfort and the style...Very unreliable truck..Didnt even make it to 70,000 miles..

excellent truck to own and drive. Great performance and handling, Gas milage could be a bit better, though overall driving experience i would rate at 9.5 out of ten, especially the looks my wife gets while driving it to the grocery store!

This is a great 4x4 truck!! With 12,000 miles on the odo, performance, reliability, and quality feel has been excellent. Steering is tight and confident. This is the first vehicle I have owned where the factory tires (18 inch dubs)ride smooth as silk. Gas mileage has been about 16mpg around town in mixed open road and stop and go traffic. Interstate mileage has been around 17mpg. Engine power is awesome, even to the point of barking the rear tires at red lights when forgetting to control my lead foot. The roominess of the cabin is perfect even for big and tall folks. The interior is a little drab looking when compared to the Ford and Toyota, but this is a minor point.

it is the best all around truck i have owned. it has all the power i need - is quiet even at 80 mph and above. the ride is excellent. it will tow my boat and i have no doubt it will go in snow.

my titan is very spacious and very comfortable, not only for myself but for my wife and kids.it drives very well with lots of power and stability.it could use some more cup holders and complementary seatbelts extenders since is very hard to buckle in my kids on their car seats.the dealer doesnt budge on that and they charge $44 a piece for the extenders.the power rear window is an excellent feature,my dog loves to check on the kids when we travel.the spring assisted tail gate is also a great feature,my 5year old son has no problems opening or closing it.over all and very satisfied, have not gone surf fishing yet??

  • Love this truck - 2005 Nissan Titan

I absolutely love this truck!! It has been a hit with me since the day I drove it off the lot. Its powerful, its tough, its one heck of a great truck. The only problem I ever had was when the brake calipers had to be replaced, but believe that was a design issue that Nissan has started correcting in all Titans.
