  • Best truck I had ever owned - 2004 Nissan Titan

My experience with this truck so far has been good,Problems found so far is the front passenger window will not go up if it is all the way down, and the front brake rotors had to be turned down.all is fixed and runs and performs outstanding.I had loaded this truck with so much fire wood and it did not even get me a problem with a heavy load, the truck did not even sag one bit. The gass mileage is not bad at all for the style of truck--I get 20 mpg highway 16 city-if you are heavy on the peddle expect 13mpg city or lower!!

  • LE CREW CAB4X4 ,6000 miles - 2004 Nissan Titan

So far I have enjoyed my le titan crew cab. I have owned all the other makes at one time or another. The Titan v8 has more power plus the best gas mileage. Unless you are going to tow more than 7200 bls ,DONT GET THE TOW PACKAGE! Most customers think they have to have this to tow . Thats not true. I get 18.37 to 18.69 mpg on the highway not towing, and 14.38 to 14.68,all round. This includes a lot of stop and go in town and out. The 03 prof. grade truck I had only got 16.54 on the highway. The ride is good for a 4x4 and so far only one little rattle. Handles more like a car. The transmission so far is excellent! GM needs to take notice.

this truck blows all the other truck right out of the water. it has great performce, confort, and fetures. i bought mine for $89 over invoice. bottom line great truck the power is awusome. the F-150 runs out of power fast on the highway, this just keeps going, like the maxiama

Everything you would hope to expect from a full size truck. More value in standard equipped version. Chevy & Ford dealers tried to sell option loaded trucks which wasnt what I was looking for. Handles very well even in our recent rain storm. Only down side Ive encountered is it has tendency to get bouncy over Socal freeway joints. But considering its towing capacity, I guess thats expected. Otherwise extremely happy so far.

With a limited amount of mileage this is just my initial opion of the truck. Ask me again in six months.

  • almost perfect - 2004 Nissan Titan

first of all: theres no rear axle electronic locking differential until April 2004. not even a limited slip differential. were getting 8 city/15 hwy mpg, first 500 miles with the off road and big tow packages (3.36 final drive) easy to get stuck on deep (1) snow, but then what 4x4x isnt, i guess. truck lock is always locked..annoying. ca not anser the Reliability question yet...

  • Titan Can Do It All! - 2004 Nissan Titan

I traded my Ford F-250 in on a Titan and, wow, I was so impressed by how the Titan rides, drives, and pulls! It does every bit as good as my 250 did pulling my horse trailer, but with much better gas mileage. Also, the room inside is great. I LOVE THIS TRUCK!

I am obsessed with getting value for my money and its my nature to crib about everything I buy. But everytime I look at the Titan on my driveway, I cant stop smiling. It looks cool and has a more urban touch than the roundish dodge rams and F150s. I test drove every combination of every model of every maker. Other trucks felt like they have been put together from seperate pieces. When they move, it is the engine dragging the rest of the body. The Titan feels like one tight unit. Integrated. The whole thing has been designed to be one powerhouse. Fun to drive, smooth as silk, responds to the pedal without hesitation. Only a matter of time that it becomes numero uno choice of America.

This truck has exceeded all my expectations, I researched and test drove several makes and choose the titan for the pulling power and functionaal design. It tows superbly and has power to space, just a great vehicle.
