I drove the F150, and the Silverado...Dealers would not budge on the price. I was willing to buy the F150 for 22K...The dealer offered 22.5k...Went, fell in love with and bought the Titan for 22.3k. 6 cd changer...nice stereo system...tint...pedal adjustment..cruise, outstanding compartments(6,7??). Vamity mirrors, sun visor extensions..ETC..I may have gotten extremely lucky with my deal, BUT I would have paid 2k more to get into this vehicle. Rides and looks like an SUV. Buy it. You will not be sorry. emial me at avalderas@austin.rr.com if u think im kidding. Serious truck. I love it....

Ten months and 10.5K miles of ownership and best truck I have ever owned. Aint perfect, brakes have problems (judder) but Nissan is stepping up to plate and covering any brake problems for a full three years and 36K miles on original brakes and replacing with newer rotors and pads to correct problem. If looking for a used one, try to find an 04 with tow pkg, since it included VDC (vehicle dynamic control) an option appreciated with a truck that has this much POWER! VDC is optioned with side air bags on the 05s. Both these options hard to come by, or not even available, on Chev, Ford, Dodge.

Wife bought me this truck for Christmas...have studied the entire truck market for nearly a year...reading, driving, etc...this may well be the closest to truck perfection you will find...still new so I will wait a while but initial impression is awesome...it kinda looks like Nissan looked throughout the market and then did one better in virtually all areas of design...wife got $7,000 off MSRP...

We bought the truck on 12 Jan 2004 and in the last week we have put just over 1k miles on her. SE King Cab 2WD model with the Pop Bench Pkg, Big Tow Pkg and Bed Pkg. $1400 under MSRP was the best we found after shopping 4 lots in our area over 2 weeks. Out of 35 trucks they had, less than 5 now. So getting them far below MSRP is not gonna happen here in Socal. Were actually going to replace my wifes 99.5 Pathfinder with an 04 but after she has seen and driven the Titan it was a no brainer. $3k less than the Pathy. My wife just cant wipe the grin off her face. And to tell the tructh, niether can I. I love the power and feel of this Full Sized TRUCK!

I will make this simple. The interior is huge. I am 65" and fit in here easily with a grown man sitting behind me. The truck accelerates very quickly, shifts smooth and gets great gas mileage. The 6 disc changer delivers studio quality sound and the ride quality rivals most full size sedans. Also, road noise does not exist, it is quiet. Now for one important thing...price. I bought this truck $3500 cheaper than a comparably equipped Ford F150 supercrew. Ford has been #1 in my book and many others for years, but I firmly believe that it is time for a new leader.

It took four trips to two different dealerships to find the rattles in the dash. Turns out that the two front corners of the dash had not been secured. Also had a paint defect where the paint peeled off of the front bumper. After a couple of hundred dollars in car rental fees I hope everything goes smoother now.

  • Front left seal at Pumpkin leakage - 2004 Nissan Titan

I brought my truck to the dealership after noticed a shiny area around mt front diff when I put my hand up to touch it it moved around like a joy stick. I bough it to the dealer and they popped the seal back in and filled it back up with diff fluid. They refused to cover it under warranty because I have a PRG leveling kit, I know other who have had the same problem lift kit or not and got it covered. I spent $95. Very disappointing.

  • Great power - 2004 Nissan Titan

Overall have been very happy with the truck. Great pickup power, strong handling. A couple of minor complaints with fit and finish but any issues Nissan has fixed under warranty. Only downside is the gas mileage. averaging 13.5 to 14 mpg.
