  • Titan rocks !!! - 2004 Nissan Titan

I used to own a 2001 Frontier and I decided to switch to a true full size truck. Engine is awesome !!! No need to add extras to get the big sound. This baby is music to my ears...Got the SE crew cab 2WD in silver with the bench option. For all you who are looking to haul people, I highly recommend it. Its better than the central console and you got plenty of space for arm to stretch it. Got the popular option with bench, power pedals, universal link transmitter, 6 CD changer. The other day I was in the line at the light with a new F150 with the 5.4 engine. I "smoked" him! The Endurance engine gets a necksnapping start...great job Nissan!!!

I had a deposit on 2004 F 150 which is a great truck A friend suggested that I take the Titan out for a test ride before I get the 150 when I started the engine I was hooked great sound! when we took it for a test ride it felt like it had a hundred more horse power than the Ford 5.4 liter and the five speed trans is always in the right gear and the handling is fantastic

The Titan is awsome truck Ive owned all the rest and this is the best truck Ive ever owned. The only thing Ive had in in for is the brakes rotors that had to be turned. But if your looking for a truck that hauls but look at a Titan.

  • Needs some work - 2004 Nissan Titan

Impresive engine and torque feeling., but needs some refinement on the chasis. Ive been driving this vehicle for 5 months and already feel like an old pick up.I just put on 22000 miles of unpaved and hard roads and let me tell you this.. my Moms Suburban feels like new and its a 2001 model and it have 60000 miles!!!!! And I dont even mentioned the OEM tires they are awful!! imagine.. 2 flats in 2 weeks that kind of tires are made for Moms going from a Scottdale neighborhood to a Walmart and thats it.

Titan is an enjoy to drive and is a workhorse when hauling and caring stuff. I have hauled some really heavy stuff and it begged for more. My neighbor was really suprised when I picked a pallet of grass and the rear end didnt even squat even with back tires. He now wants one.

I like my truck.. but being tall... it isnt made for tall people.... I also think that its way overpriced compared to similar options and packages that the F-150 offers.

  • Tough Truck - 2004 Nissan Titan

Researched full sized trucks and chose Titan in 2004, after driving the others. Never regretted it, now has 80,000 miles on it without a complaint. Factory replaced original rotors after first ones warped early on, and no further problems and couple minor recall items fixed. Strong truck with torque-monster motor, have pulled big trailers, loaded it up even beyond its capacity and no complaints from it. Huge interior, now wife drives it regularly, with two big dogs in pack seat. Sad to hear that Nissan will discontinue it soon, would replace it with another one if they are still around, but its indestructible for now.

  • Good truck but some problems - 2004 Nissan Titan
    By -

My Nissan Titan is a good looking truck with lots of power and plenty of room in the cab for 5 large adults. I have been generally pleased with the performance but have had some reliability issues. The first problem was with a shuddering caused by the front brakes. The dealership replaced the front brakes. The next thing that happened was the paint on the steering column started flecking away by the radio controls. Just a couple of months ago the AM portion of the radio failed and Nissan wouldnt replace it (the cost to replace the radio is over $1,000 since the radio is part of the CD).

I purchased the truck loving all the engineering and design that went into it.The only drawback is the loud exhaust and nissan has no fix yet. I love everything about the truck except the annoying NOISE if they fix tis they ahve a winner.
