This Year's Model Updates:

Crew cab models receive a standard power up/down rear window with defroster, while all models get a tailgate with dampened assist. Other changes include new active head restraints for the driver and front passenger, new badging on the front doors and a unique wheel finish for SE models. The LE receives brushed aluminum interior trim accents and a leather-appointed bench seat is available in place of the buckets. The popular spray-in bedliner is now available as a stand-alone option on the XE.

Pros:
  • One of the best drivetrains in its class, smooth-riding suspension, spacious and functional cabin, innovative design features, available stability control and side airbags.
Cons:
  • Limited drivetrain and body style choices, no heavy-duty models, burly exhaust note can get annoying on long drives.

I have had my Titan for over two years with little or no problems. It looks great, runs great, fun to drive and has all the creature comforts. Has great power on and off road, mileage varies according to pedal pressure :o) but if I use cruise it is decent on highway. I have gotten over 20 on one trip, I attribute that to the bed cap, using synthetic oil. It tows great. It is a terrific truck

Drove Chevy trucks for over 20 years; they cant match this for cost/benefit. If Nissan built these in quantity, theyd sell better than Toyota and ALL domestic manufacturers (similar features at $1,000s less). Better tow rating than Chevy or Dodge, better mileage, very comfortable, all controls within reach of the driver. Absolutely love it.

Shes BIG, STRONG, and more than capable of doing what I need done! I tried them all to before leasing my next truck, Ford, Dodge, Chevy, GMC. You name it I tested it! Ive had my Titan a little over 5 months now, my oh my. I will admit it is a very thirsty truck, I spend a lot of time at the pumps but all things considered, I dont mind filling it up and going some more the truck just goes! I love it. I towed an 8,000lb trailer from Everett Wa. Down to San Diego Ca. in a little under 22 hours this truck tows like nothing else on earth!! Over mountain passes you name it who needs heavy duty? Fantastic job Nissan you now have a believer!!!

my first new vehicle and shopped around and read the reveiws on this site before I made my decision. WOW!!! what a great decision this the most comfortable, power is immense, the looks the "tuner kids" give when they finally get to the next light is priceless. cannot imagine filling all the storage bins or the cup holders. Only downside would be the mileage but I DONT CARE this is an amazing truck.

This truck is Awesome! I had one minor problem. There was a brake recall bacause of warping of the front brake rotors due to overheating. I took it in and they replace the front rotors and turned the rear and replaced the brake pads with new ones made of a different compound.

Hands Down Nissan. Test drove dodge, chevy (had a ford 4x4 Expedition not AGAIN) I went from a 525i 2003 BMW to this truck and so far since the biggest factor was to tow a boat and that she does!!! Nissans truck will be a BIG HIT in the fishing world !!! All the magazines have ruled it the boat warrier haulers! What a ride and great sound system?

AMAZING TRUCK! hadthe brake problem almost immediately after purchase.Dealer replaced, since then its been AWESOME. FLAWLESS PERFORMANCE! used to drive a land cruiser by Toyota, and this is just more fun! Fuel consumption is bad, but anyone buying a pickup truck should know what to expect! other wise stick to hybrids NEONS!

  • Great Truck, Needs more standard equipme - 2005 Nissan Titan

I really like this truck and glad that I bought this model. Its the only model that has body colour front grill and bumper. Mechanically everything is sound. This model didnt offer enough options such as fog lamps and a wheel upgrade. Also needs a little more added to the XE preferred package such as power windows, power door locks and keyless entry. Saftey Reasons.

I just bought my vehicle at the end of last year. I got a really great deal. I was hesitant about buying one after all the problems with the quality of the 2004. So, I waited for the 2005 model. I am glad I did. The truck has great power, style, and comfort features. I am in a Ford family. So it was somewhat a shock when I showed with a Titan. It is a great truck. The gas mileage is really good for a vehicle this size. I havent had any problems with the 2005 Titan. I did buy an extended warranty. It has the space of full size suv with the utility of a truck. That is the best of best worlds. I also love the added features such as the sonar for parking. I use it quite a bit.

Fun to drive, and has good power. Appeals to wide range of age groups. Youll get looked at in this truck. Has a pleasant exhaust note. Stereo sounds great. This is my first Nissan and "so far so good" I previously owned a 1999 F-150, and was ready to buy a 2005 F- 150, untill I tried out the Titan.
