28,000 MISTAKE - 2004 Nissan Titan
By in2tv - September 15 - 10:00 amI beleive I made a 28,000.00 mistake. After test driving the truck on a smooth highway, I decided, well it a little stiff but power makes up for it. But now I am driving it everyday on the 10 FWY in the San Gabriel Valley and I am practically being tossed out of my seat. The ride is extremely rough and harsh. Yes I have already checked the tire pressure!!

Its the engine, stupid.... - 2004 Nissan Titan
By Brons2 - September 9 - 4:56 pmThe engine on this truck is the best on the market. It also has a very roomy interior and a silky 5 speed auto. The mileage sucks in town, but hey this is a big truck with 300+ HP. Its not too bad on the highway with the 5spd auto though, 17-18mpg. The XE Crew Cab comes with power windows/door locks, tilt and cruise. I am 67" also and really liking the room both in front and in back With the $2000 rebate I only paid $22,400 out the door, right at TMV, sticker was $26,810. Mine also has remote keyless, 6 disc CD, overhead bins and floord mats. This truck was a steal for the price! Was going to get another F150 but I got hooked on the Titan!

TIGHT!!!! - 2004 Nissan Titan
By stmiff - September 8 - 10:00 amExcellent craftsmanship! Solid well built, TIGHT in everyway. Doors, hood, suspension, everything TIGHT! Immediate response on accelerator. Anti-lock brakes, stop now. Now, if only our "American" truck companies would move into the 21st Century, and make DOHC vehicles, instead of the push- rod relics. My buddys Dodge Ram, built in Mexico City. My Titan, built in Canton, Mississippi. Go figure.

I love my Titan - 2004 Nissan Titan
By WI White Titan - September 8 - 10:00 amIve had my Titan for a month and love it. Lots of cool features. Solid, powerful feel is incredible. Mileage isnt great but not unexpected. The only thing that bugs me a little bit is that I brush the electric seat controls when I get in, changing my seat position occasionally. Other than that, this thing rocks. I have the Rockford Fosgate package and it is awesome. I am looking for something to haul around, just to try out the Utili- trac system!

Impressive! - 2004 Nissan Titan
By terstruck - July 22 - 10:00 amOnly had a few days but am already convinced that this is the best truck for the money in this class. I paid 31000 and got the Big Tow pkg as well as the floor mats, splashguards and the bed extender. Just an all around sweet ride for the money. Seems like Nissan covered most of the bases when they designed this truck. Would like to see a place to put change and I can see that the oil filter is not going to be easy to reach because it is under the skid plate. Not my problem though since my dealer included three years of oil changes. If you are looking for a truck in this class, you cant go wrong with the Titan!

MY OPINION - 2004 Nissan Titan
By FRANK TAKACS - July 22 - 10:00 amIN MY OPINION, THIS NISSAN SE CREW CAB 4WD TRUCK OUTPREFORMS THE 99 CHEV. SILVERADO Z71 FWD THAT I USED TO OWN. THE GAS MILEAGE COULD BE BETTER (APPROX. 15-17 MPG) BUT THE SACRAFICE IS MADE UP FOR IN THE POWER DIFFERENCE.I HAVE OWNED 4WD TRUCKS FOR YEARS FORDS INCLUDED. THIS ONE IS THE BEST SO FAR.

2004 Nissan Titan comments - 2004 Nissan Titan
By Bob Gilmore - July 22 - 6:13 amTough vehicle, I get lots of admirers. I think it has Ford, Chevy, and Toyota beat on the "macho" scale. This truck sucks down some gas! Had a problem with brakes which Nissan acknowledges with Technical Service Bulletin (TSB) NTB04-066. They did service to the truck but did not replace the rotors as the TSB recommends. Seems to be a temp fix which lasts about 4000 miles. Problem is vibration in steering wheel when pedal is depressed. I expect this problem to return every 4000 miles until they replace the rotors. The truck does stop fine and handles great. Lots of power and roomy cab.

First to buy in USA - 2004 Nissan Titan
By Juanperez - June 27 - 2:00 amThe minute I first saw the new Titan I knew that Nissan was serious about competing in the large truck market. I was lucky enough to to be the first to test drive it. The moment I heard the engine start, I knew that I was going to take it home. Nissan did their homework and delivered on everything they said this truck would be. The Power is awesome, the Ride is exceptional, and the Roominess is amazing. I was a Loyal F-150 owner,. This truck changes everthing
