  • Great Buy - 2004 Nissan Titan

I test drove all the different full size trucks and this truck stood out as the most powerfull biggest in its class. It was also one of the cheaper ones in its class. I am very satisfied and will recommend this truck. This is my first Nissan and it probably will not be my last.

  • Best Ive ever had - 2004 Nissan Titan

I have owned many trucks and have finally found a keeper. When I first got behind the wheel to drive it my first thought was this truck has an engine. Full of power and can pull anything. The interior is put together very nice but it is kind of bland. I am looking at an aftermarket dash dress up kit to spice up the interior. I love the exterior lines of the truck. It stands tall with all the other trucks out there and has a nice throaty sound emitting from the exhaust. The factory tie downs in the bed are pure genius and the most handy thing on the truck when you need it. The only downfall is the fuel mileage, but its a truck and youre not going to get good gas mileage with any truck.

  • Nissan Front Brake Issue - 2004 Nissan Titan
    By -

Nissan needs to fix this front brake problem that they say is only in So. Ca. and NY. This will be the second time for shutter in steering due to warped rotors from brakes overheating. I guess if it isnt fixed a third time I will review the lemon law in Ca. I know others who have been there 3 times for brakes.Front window problems.

  • A step above the others - 2004 Nissan Titan

Its big, bigger interior than a 1500HD crew cab. Its smooth and quiet, except if you step on it. The motor sounds a little like a v8 Camaro from the 80s. Very comfortable seats unless your tall. Its certainly faster than my 99 z71. Lots of little items than add up to a well executed vehicle. Worth a look if your open to driving an import. It took me a while to convince myself not to buy a new chevy, but Im glad I did.

  • My second review - 2004 Nissan Titan

See my post on 10/7/04 right after I bought the truck. Its now been two months and I still love the truck. Being a first year model I knew their would be some kinks along the way too. Ive had some minor brake problems. I say minor, but will know for sure tomorrow when it goes in to the dealer. Feels like the rotors have warped, after only 4000 miles. If they are warped, they will be replacing, not cutting them. If their cut, its that much sooner I have to replace them at my expense. Also, had a minor problem with the driver window not coming back up immediatley. It took about 5 tries to get it to come up. Think it was because I pushed against it a little as it was going down.

  • Awsome Truck - 2004 Nissan Titan

This is a super truck. The only negative is it drinks gas.

  • Best truck for the money, hands down! - 2004 Nissan Titan
    By -

I did a lot of research before buying the Titan in its first production year. Its almost 2 years now and I still find my self looking at it as if I just bought it. I have taken many long trips in it and I cannot remember a more comfortable vehicle. The power of the 5.6 Endurance is impressive and makes the Titan very fun to drive. Mileage isnt the greatest, but then its a truck, not an economy car.

  • Wouldnt own another Nissan - 2004 Nissan Titan
    By -

This truck has numerous recalls. I had to replace the entire rearend because Nissan couldnt replace leaking rear axle seals. They replaced it with a rearend from a newer year. $2700. Fuse box went bad. $425. Never had that happen before. Have to press gas pedal to start it now. Nissan has no idea whats wrong. Interior light problems. Electric window problems. 4x4 sensor problems. Front seats falling apart.

  • Titanium Tough - 2004 Nissan Titan

I have approx.2000 miles on the truck and the acceleration, torque and towing capability is great. The mpgs is a little lower than expected but the ride, handling and interior features are excellent.Would recommend truck to anyone.
