  shaking steering wheel when breaking - 2004 Nissan Titan

  fun to drive, when braking steering wheel shakes a lot (I mean a lot!!!), and the worst thing is they dont have enough spare parts to fix the problem (long waiting list, Ive been waiting since dec 9!!). Dealer says spare parts will fix problem temporarily, while nissan is finding out the real solution. I heard Nissan Armada got same problem.

  I purchased a 04 se titan 4x4 w/ big tow and off rd pkg new 1/05. fun truck and looks nice, but i dont think i would ever buy one if i had another go at it. Fun to drive as long as you turn off the traction control everytime you get in it. Ive told many people it would be a great truck, if I bought it for my wife to drive the kids around in, but im not married so....I feel its a very safe "street" vehicle. if you plan on going anywhere you might need 4wd, lock it in before its needed. otherwise you might not get it to engage on demand. the mpg is not too good compared to alot of other trucks. I had to have the brake jutter kit installed. that did seem to take care of that issue.

  I find it difficult not to put the pedal to the floor. The acceleration is exhilirating. It draws a lot of attention. I am constantly getting positive comments on its appearance. Most people are shocked to see a Nissan this size.

  I have owned many trucks and the Titan is the best thing going. The 08 Tundra and 04 and up F150 have a better towing weight but thats where it ends. The titan has a roomier back seat then the F150 and Crewmax, (Chevy is even close). I have the Deep Ocean Blue and get comments on the color continously. There were some recalls on the brakes and seatbelts on the back seat but fully covered by the dealorship so no big deal. The interior is basic, lots of plastic, but I have found an aftermarket dash kit that brings it up to date. I can not rave about the power this truck has to offer and the Dana 450 rear end is awsome. (replace the steel cover on the diffential) Nissan has created a monster

  Purchased the Titan LE with Big Tow , Side air bags, Running Boards, Floor Mats, Splash Guards, Have 1100 miles and checked gas mileage 17 MPG City/Hiway driving, seems to be a strong truck, smooth ride, drives good, HOT RODDER BEWARE, the brake pads/rotors will be the first to go along with lousy MPG I own a 04 Toyota Sienna have got 29.3 MPG avg.during the 11,000 city/highway driving and expect to get 20+MPG on expressway trips @65 MPH.

  Purchased the truck in 04 new and have had NO problem except the initial brake issue that Nissan took care of until a recently having problem with A/C control knob. A very minor first problem after 4 years and 80,000 miles. I cant imagine why Nissan is talking with Dodge to design the next generation Titan!! Except for MPG I would love to keep the truck for many years to come!

  ive had my titan for two years and have over 40,000 miles on it with only minor problems with the brakes. ive towed my boat and hauled furniture and all sorts of scrape and garbage. its the best truck ive owned.

  This is the 1st pickup I have ever bought but I cant imagine what any other is like this truck is big fast and most important fun. Just buy it and see the looks you get when your driving but dont get the xe they let me use one until my se came in and its just as fast but the interior is plain. This thing handles curves great. just a great truck

  I like everything about the truck except the controls for the drivers seat. Everytime I enter the truck my leg hits the seat controls and adjusts it slightly.A think the controls could be a little lower to prevent that.
