  • Awesome Titan - 2004 Nissan Titan

The Titan is awesome in every way! It is so quick when you need it to be and smooth when you want to relax and drive! The power and performance of this Nissan will surprise you every time you put the peddle down! It is an eye catcher! People are constantly saying how much they love it and how they would love to have it. I absolutely love this awesome machine!

  • Power & Handling!!! - 2004 Nissan Titan

Huge power, great handling with the rack and pinion steering, great comfort and plenty of space!!! What more could one want in a full size truck? I have owned Chevys, Fords and a Dodge and they are not even close when all factors are considered. Build quality is first rate and reliability should be far better than the domestics. Anyone that puts down this truck has not driven it. And Nissan ALSO gives their customers a high tech 5 speed auto instead of the ancient 4 sp.ODs on the domestics. The TITAN just flattened Detroit!!!!! The domestics are playing catch-up in EVERY market segment as of now. Great truck, NISSAN!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Used Dissapoinment - 2004 Nissan Titan

All the hype about Nissans maintaining their value must be a joke. I bought an 04 Titan used with 9000 miles and within the first month have had it in the shop for four different problems. Windshield wiper fluid reservoir leaked, power windows stopped working, cupholders broke, passenger side rear door wouldnt open, a total mess within the first month of ownership. And it also doesnt help when the dealer doesnt care and will get to it when they can. Other than that, I like the truck, it looks good and rides great. Just a few things going wrong ruins the experience, especially stuff that shouldnt break on a truck with 9,000 miles

  • Very Pleased - 2004 Nissan Titan

I have 2 main wishes about this truck. I do not like the black plastic at the tailgate release lever. I also wish it had the power vertical rear window a-la the Tundra Double Cab. That being said, I love my Titan SE Crew 4x4 with Rockford Package, Utility bed and Big Tow package. Living near the North Carolina mountains, it pulls the hills in this area with much power to spare and decent gas mileage while doing so. I had been waiting a while for such a tough looking, well-equipped truck, and at last I have one. I would recommend this truck to anyone looking for great quality, power, tough looks and Im counting on the long-term reliability Nissan has been known for!

  • Loving it, but... - 2004 Nissan Titan
    By -

Coveted Tundras forever, thought about Chevy/Dodge, then test drove the Titan. GAME OVER! Bed features and interior design for the $$ involved made this one a no-brainer. The engines power is addictive; gas mileage no worse than anything else this size. Drivers seat extremely comfortable. Graphite/Titanium leather the way to go (Whats the butterscotch color? Blech.) Love the stereo, esp. the sub. No sunroof, but I dont miss it. BUT... add-ons back-ordered, minor quirks like faulty airbag sensor, clock malfunction, broken spring on storage lock cover...all have left me with a loaner at this point. But Im not complaining (too loudly)....

  • Lights out - 2004 Nissan Titan
    By -

Have been pretty pleased with this truck. Dealer fixed brake problems early on. One thing though is that many times at night when I turn on the right hand turn signal the lights go off. This has scared the crap out of me as driving at high speeds at night and the lights go out when I turn on the right hand signal and a few times when I go from dims to bright. Anyone else experience this? Always in a panic to turn them back on.

  • Had to have this truck!!! - 2004 Nissan Titan

After you drive this truck youll have to have it too!! You wont even believe the power these things have until you actually drive one for yourself. They are literally flying off the lots everywhere. Nissan more than delivered everything they said they would. Exceptional power, ride, interior design and sound system!! The TITAN blows the doors off all others!!

  • Drive this before you buy another - 2004 Nissan Titan

Purchased crew cab LE, 4X4. Beautiful vechicle inside and out. Not the Nissan of old! Responsive stering, throaty exhaust and a tight suspension make this truck very fun to drive. My wife was nervous to drive it because she thought it would drive like a big, clumsy truck but once she got behind the wheel she did not want to give it up! If you are thinking about buying a Chevy, Dodge or Ford (Tundra does not compare) then you should test drive this truck! You wont be sorry! Only thing I can say negative is that they are not readily available yet and this causes the dealers not to deal much. These trucks are selling at MSRP or not much off at all.

Other than typical problems, it has been good to me and I am hard on vehicles.

  • Not bad for first time out - 2004 Nissan Titan
    By -

Very impressed with the Titan. Drove a Tundra prior and there is no comparison. The Titan is bigger, roomier, and definately more powerful. Sure the Tundra is more refined and luxurious but this is a truck, not a Lexus. The Titan identifies what the truck owner needs.
