Stykish, Yet Not so Reliable - 2004 Nissan Quest
By skurl - March 12 - 2:00 amOur experiance with our first minivan is a mixed one. The styling and power were what moved us to go with this vehicle versus some of the more well known brands. So far, in only 3700 miles, the van has been to the dealer twice for electronic/mechanical problems and needs to go back again for a rattling sliding driver door. The rear lift gate has gone out once and also all interior lights have gone out as well, much to the dismay of the service center. We are keeping a positve view because we like the driving and styling of the car, but it is testing our patience.

We Love It! - 2004 Nissan Quest
By cbraschl - February 6 - 6:03 pmAfter we purchased the Quest, we did have some of the issues that have been listed on other reviews. We had what we thought was a door rattle, and that turned out to be that the latches that hold down the rear seat were rattling. This may be something that the rest of you may want to investigate if you havent resolved the problem yet. The dealer couldnt solve the problem, so I placed electrical tape around the latch pins and the rattle went away. We also had a fuel pump failure within the first 2,000 miles. The dealer was very responsive in fixing this problem. Overall, we are extremely impressed with the Quest.

quest se - 2004 Nissan Quest
By jb2 - February 4 - 10:00 amjust took a 700 mile trip, loved the navigation system. the van was quiet smooth and comfortable. our gas mileage was in the low 20s driving near 80 mph. we have had no squeaks, rattles or problems. (1800 miles). The controls require a few days to become second nature, and everything is simple and easy to reach.

Not just a new standard, a new approach! - 2004 Nissan Quest
By FenderDen - February 4 - 10:00 amMy wife and I bought an 01 Olds Silouhette becasue of the free extra warranty coverage and the extra level of appointments at a mid-range price. After spending some time looking around for a replacement (we were going to wait for aug 04), we looked at the Odyessy (boring), Windstar (soon the be freestar) - sorry its a Ford product and we dont do Fords anymore, and we even looked at the VW van thingy eh yeah if thats what it is... Enter the Nissan. Now I am not one to get excited over a Minivan (we but it because of necessity of having 3 children) but wow! This thing has a new approach to family moving.

No Complaints - 1st Time Minivan Owner - 2004 Nissan Quest
By Nissan Twingle Mom - February 1 - 9:53 pmI have complaints about my 2004 Nissan Quest. I vowed never to buy a minivan and become a soccer mom. However, with a 15 yr old son who is already 6 tall and 6 yr old twins and the constant sports activities and furnishing of rides to tmy childresns teammates a larger vehicle became a necessity. I could have chosen an SUV and almost purchased one, however with increasing gas prices and a desire to have a fuel efficient but spacious vehicle, the Quest won the votes of my family hands down. I am more than pleasantly impressed and surprised.

No Problems - 2004 Nissan Quest
By dlkoenig - December 30 - 11:40 pmAfter over one year of driving the Nissan Quest we are completely satisfied with this vehicle. It meets all of our needs perfectly. We have four children from 2 to 14 years of age and it hauls us around with lots of room. It is easy to care for and clean. The kids love and we love it even more. It has so many practical features, is well thought out and designed. From the back up sonar to the power rear hatch to the folding seats that interchange easily it is the best . Best of all we have had no problems with this vehicle. Thanks Nissan for a great Miniivan.

A whole new Quest - 2004 Nissan Quest
By spl311 - December 17 - 2:00 amWe traded in our 1999 Nissan Quest GLE for a 2004 Quest SL. We gave up a few features but got what we wanted - a couple of power doors (would be nice if drivers side was power too, but didnt want to pay for SE), DVD, gobs more power, more room, and absolutely NO Ford components! Things started rattling and a few things broke on the old Quest, but Im a Nissan guy going way back and love the exterior style compared to the aging Odyssey, our other serious contender for replacement van.

We love our Quest - 2004 Nissan Quest
By Newburn - December 11 - 2:00 amWe compared all models in this market and the Sienna and Quest stood out by far. The reason we picked the Quest over the Sienna was the fold down middle row seats and the fact that the Nissan dealer was more flexible at the bargaining table. We got an excellent deal on an excellent vehicle.

still not sure - 2004 Nissan Quest
By firstmini - November 4 - 2:00 amWe wanted the Sienna but it wasnt available (order only) and the Toyota dealers would not deal at all. Weve have the van for 3 weeks now and both love it and hate it - not what I expected from an almost $30000 purchase. The ride is great and the handling is fabulous. The gas milage is only around 17mpg (still in "break-in" period), the blower setting defaults to air conditioning (in PA in Nov??), the radio/cd work intermittantly and the power door works intermittanly - the dealer says there is no problem
