A lemon for sure - 2004 Nissan Quest
By ckmontgomery1 - June 11 - 8:36 pmI handled all the small problems like rattling doors, doors that had their own mind and spontaneously opened, moonroof that leaked, doors that squished my children but at 100000 miles my entire computer system/ electric system was corroded and left the van inoperable. Nissan Corp has not helped AT ALL. The part was ordered by a dealer and it is now on 2 months of being unavailable with no excuse or reason why. We have made every effort to speak with Nissan to get answers to no avail- nothing past the call center who claims they resolved our problem- part will be in in 3 more weeks Only that was said 1x already. I just cannot wait to get the car fixed + gone!

By Bartman116 - June 5 - 2:00 amI traded my Range Rover in for this minivan because my family got larger. I have never had so much fun driving a car like this before. It has so many inovative features, along with styling and comfort, that it far surpasses any luxury car out there on the market. From coolest things like the sky roof and the dual dvd screens, to the drain system in the doors that lead out of the vehical if you spill your drink, this car has just about everything to make it the perfect car on the market today. Definitly take a look at this minivan if your in the market for a minivan or an SUV.

By Paul Holloway - June 1 - 10:00 amSuperb handling and riding quality, solid as a Mossler Safe! Suggestion: #1 The size of the fuel, temperature gage, and odometer needs to be increased. Could be placed to the right of the display window. I strongly believe that the display screen shoud be gray with black letter presentation, difficult to read during daylight. #2 The Manual instructions for tuning the radio is poorly written, particularly the A,B,& C, portion, confusing! Brakes issues, poor interior quality - 2004 Nissan Quest
By MacG - May 26 - 3:40 pmMy Q needed a new fuel pump early in its life, which was covered under warranty. Also, front brakes were troublesome, a lot of vibration, several repairs, none covered by Nissan dealer despite known brake issues. No other problems with it mechanically. I loved the center gauges, a lot of people didnt, so that was changed in later models. Drivers seat back fabric wore out just after the warranty on it was up, ended up with two holes! The drivers seat back also seemed to get a bit wobbly, or loose. 3rd row seat was not easy to retrieve from stowed position. I think that many women would not have the strength for it - as a big guy I had to fight it.

not what i expected - 2004 Nissan Quest
By zzollwalk - May 20 - 10:00 amThe design was good..engineering not so good. Transimission problems still persists even after replacement. Nissan does not offer a solution that would make us whole again after buying this vehicle. We are still going thru the replacing this vehicle process under the lemon law. I has taken an attorney and lots of phone calls to get something out of Nissan. They know and have admitted to having a problem with this vehicle but do not want the vehicle back. They are reluctant to work with us. FYI..tell them the news media will be involved..that seemed to help them speed replacement up..

We actually feel less stress driving in it which I can possibly attribute to the extra roominess compared to a much smaller car such like an older model Niss. Altima. Smooth acceleration and good braking characteristics. We love the body styling given it. This is our first minivan and we have no regrets about it what-so-ever.

04 Quest SE Pleasure to Drive - 2004 Nissan Quest
By Robert Simon - April 24 - 10:33 amWe bought this vehicle used with only 25k miles. We have had no major problems mechanically other than a hairline crack in catalytic converter weld unknown cause. Caused Nissan a headache but got us new sensors, fuel injectors, new computer and assorted other fuel savings goodies. We love the entertainment features, navigation system (other than expensive to update it) but other than the Low Tire Pressure Sensor going off when the temp changes more than 10 degrees but its not a big deal once you turn the alarm off and you dont have a real flat. We have driven it from east coast to texas to nevada and back to texas and it drove great and smooth. Nice body style and roomy inside.

Before the 2004 Quest hit the market, she was very against purchasing a mini-van because the current selection lacked "sex- appeal" and "coolness". As a young mother, she only considered SUVs as an option. The new Quest changed that perception.
