Frequently this vehicle wont start in the AM. I have taken it to the dealer repeatedly and they claim they cant replicate the problem. I overhead some mechanics discussing that this is a common customer complaint with this vehicle, but when I questioned them on the comment, everyone denied having said it.

  • Has been a good van for us - 2004 Nissan Quest

We have owned our Quest for four years and it has not required a return trip to the dealer for anything other than a recall on an airbag. Drive 75 mph on long trips we average 25 mpg. The engine is fantastic and the thing is huge inside. If you need a larger vehicle that still gets decent mileage, this is one to consider.

This vehicle is very fun to drive and an eye catching machine. Finally the minivan doesnt feel like a minivan. It truly feel luxury, futuristic, fun to drive and tons of gadgets.

We have love our Quest for three years now. We got it used. Im 65", my wife is 511" and our kids are going to be huge we know that already. lol so the room is what we needed we got it. We ALSO got a van that has had and continues to have transmission issues. The trany was replaced two years after we got it and were told that it was never serviced. Nissan says every 30,000 it needs a flush and fill. so the new rebuilt trany is now giving us a fit and Nissan keeps telling us they "cant reproduce the issue" even after the dealer ship having the van for 26 DAYS.The timing chain is making a ticking noise thats not covered by the warranty because it has 45 parts and 10 are covered by them.

Bought this as soon as it was introduced. have about 33k miles so far. Been in dealership for warranty related service, regular service, recalls for 20 times- ~ 35 days. Had replaced wheel bearings and transmission control module already. Replaced door weather stripping, CD/Radio already. Doors and seats rattle all the time. Nissan is not able to fix it so far after 6 attempts. Never seen such a poor quality car. Buy a Honda, Toyota, Mazda, Kia, Ford or GM minivans but never this. In fact I will never buy another Nissan again. Also, customer service dept at Nissan USA is really bad. Soon Nissan will lose all its goodwill and will end up bankrupt negating their amazing financial turnaround.

Quest is a great looking, fun to drive, POWERFUL, minivan. I checked them all out and the Quest has the most bang for the buck.

  • I love my new sport vehicle! - 2004 Nissan Quest

I was very hesitant about purchasing a minivan. I went the whole "SUV run", but came to realize that was not what my family needed. I tried the other minivans first, and then my Quest. It is very functional and family friendly. My oldest son plays soccer, my daughter plays softball, and my youngest son plays just about everything..lol. Through it all my wife carries them all with greater ease than our old Altima, which we decided to keep as well. Not having to take the seats out was the best "sell" of all. Our Quest has made our familys life easy.

This is the first time that I have bought a Nissen, but now that i have one i will contuine to. The Quest is easy to drive, handles the corners much better than the Windstar that i had, the pick up is more like a suv than a minivan. I love the interior.

  • less than expected - 2004 Nissan Quest

This is our third Quest and we expected this new Quest to be as good as the others and we have been very disappointed. Right off the lot the van has needed repairs for vibrations, rattling doors, seats....too many to go on. Perhaps that is why Nissan increased the bumper to bumper warranty. We love the space and it is great on the road but it just has not lived up to being a Nissan.
