  • Best Damn Mini Van Out There - 1999 Nissan Quest
    By -

My husband and I test drove several Mini Vans when we were looking for one and wound up with the Quest for the comfort and handling of it. I love it! I have always owned a Nissan and I cant believe that we actually thought that the Pontiac Montana was more a good Van. If oyu want my opinion, stick with Nissan they hold there value and are very reliable cars.

  • Awesome for a mini-van - 1999 Nissan Quest

The best, most reliable vehicle Ive ever owned, and thats saying something. Bought it brand new in 99 and Ive never had a single problem with it, even with the miles at over 170,000. Even though my kids are driving themselves now I still get plenty of use out of the van and its one of the most comfortable cars Ive ever driven. Based on this Id buy another Nissan in a heartbeat.

My 1999 Nissan Quest has good power, decent fuel economy, great interior and comfort (with a great leather quality), and lots of neat features. My kids love the video system. I have not experienced any major problems. I just hit 40,000 miles and my Questr still rides like a sedan. I also own a 2000 Nissan Pathfinder and provides the same performance and quality. I plan on purchasing a Nissan as my next vehicle as well.

  • Nice Van - 1999 Nissan Quest

I like the Quest weve had a few minor gliches when we first purchased it used. The TV/VCR can be a bit troublesome at times. The break pedal sometimes sounds like you are stepping on a mouse.(Ive already had this looked at and well the mouse came back again) Overall though this has been a good van for our family of five.

  • I love my van! - 1999 Nissan Quest

I balked at the idea of becoming a "minivan mom", but I love my van! The kids can watch a movie during long trips, and theres plenty of space to keep them out of arms reach of one another. I bought it used at a very good price, which made me wonder what was wrong with it, but over a year later and all Ive had to do is fill it with gas and change the oil. Very solidly built, dependable, and comfortable, even for a family of six!

  • Love my van! - 1999 Nissan Quest

My van is the GLE...all the bells and whistles, plus the sunroof. I love that this van drives like a car. We drove some other vans and all drove like trucks. Handling is great. We do reg. maintenance and have had very few problems. Now at 120k mi. We just had a new radiator put in; must also replace cv boots soon and the struts. This is normal at this mileage. Wonderful car with family. Kids love the t.v. I can leave back seat pushed up against middle row most of the time and then push it right back when I have extra passengers. Car has lots of vroom vroom.

  • Trouble Free - 1999 Nissan Quest

Never had any problems with this van. Had Ford, Chevy and Dodge vans and this is by far superior in low maintenance costs. I have only had to do brakes, tires, oil changes and 30,000, 60,000 and 90,000 maintenance. Great for family vacations and shopping trips. Several trips to the hardware store and it will hold up to ten foot long boards and lots of bags of concrete, bark and potting soil. Drives and handles great. I also have a Frontier and am very impressed with Nissan reliability and dependability. Even with over 100,000 miles still feel comfortable with taking it on trips.

It is fuel efficient, has good quality, and run very smooth compare to plymouth voyager. It has a lot of comfort plus you can fold the backseats to transport bigger things as well as you can remove the back seats.

  • Satisfied Customer and Repeat buyer - 1999 Nissan Quest

My experience was good. The van was very comfortable and reliable. Also, the 99 SE Quest was a first year model, so it was fun being one of the first out on the road. The problems I experienced were not out of the norm for a first year model and Nissan dealers were very good about resolving any issues I had. As a matter a fact, I just turned in my 99 SE Quest lease (Convenience & Leather package) for another one. Im now leasing a 2002 SE Quest lease (Comfort/Convience, Auto Diming mirror and Protection Package. Ill be back to report on that one too.
