Overview & Reviews
Nissan adds a roadster to the 350Z lineup. Available in Enthusiast and Touring variants, the 2004 Nissan 350Z roadster offers the same performance and handling as the Z coupe but with the added fun of top-down driving. In other news, satellite radio (either XM or Sirius) is a new option this year for the Touring version of the coupe.
- Smooth and powerful V6 engine, excellent handling, available drop-top version, a bargain compared to anything that can run with it.
- Rough ride on Track model, some low-grade interior materials, lack of luggage space, poor rearward visibility.

My toy - 2004 Nissan 350Z
By Bill McCarthy - January 19 - 7:10 amSaw this black on black Z on the floor and fell in love with it. Took a 2000 mile trip thru eastern Canada in August and car was great. Handling is supberb, ride is what a sportscar is, mileage on trip was as much as 24.5 MPG. Not very good in the snow or wet pavement.

Too fun to drive - 2004 Nissan 350Z
By Pitlizard - January 17 - 10:00 amThe new 350Z is an outstanding sport car to drive. Handling in all situations is excellent, my fuel economy is outstanding at 27-28 mpg. Nissan is correcting all the minor flaws from the first year of production. There are faster cars, but none will handle better for the price offered by Nissan. The 350Z is a true driving experience. Its hard for people not to notice this car, and even harder for the owner get that funny smile of their face... the pitlizard

CHEVEATR - 2004 Nissan 350Z
By 4SFEDZ - December 12 - 10:00 amA build qaulity like no other,a bold face with legs to match,at an affordable price. The 350zs only downfall is its lacking of a turbo charger,(yet i have gotten around this problem with an aftermarket adaption of a t28 ballbearing turbine and cooler to match, good for 1.3 bar). Not a common vehicle witch attracts plenty of head turns,a classy streetracer with the elloquence no clumsy V8 could ever match.

Fast & Furious - If that is ALL you want - 2004 Nissan 350Z
By overlord - November 6 - 4:06 amI bought mine new in mid 04 so I actually got the 2004.5 model with the softer suspension. Its been traded in thanks to the cops. It was my 3rd Z car. Downsides: very expensive insurance, NO CARGO SPACE AT ALL. I totally hated the car for that as I am a musician so just forget taking ANYTHING with you. Oh lets not forget unnecessary razzing by the cops (got me jail time!). Interior was well put together, and thought out but littered with cheap plastic. When I traded it in after 3.5 years no one wanted it, and those that did wanted to give me $14k when I paid $40k! Car was in the shop a few with bad rear bearings, leaky rear fluid, tire problems, check engine light, & 2 sets of brakes.
