This Year's Model Updates:

Nissan adds a roadster to the 350Z lineup. Available in Enthusiast and Touring variants, the 2004 Nissan 350Z roadster offers the same performance and handling as the Z coupe but with the added fun of top-down driving. In other news, satellite radio (either XM or Sirius) is a new option this year for the Touring version of the coupe.

Pros:
  • Smooth and powerful V6 engine, excellent handling, available drop-top version, a bargain compared to anything that can run with it.
Cons:
  • Rough ride on Track model, some low-grade interior materials, lack of luggage space, poor rearward visibility.

  • Love my Z - 2004 Nissan 350Z

I love the pull that the Z has from a dead stop. Acceleration is outstanding. This car is definitely a head turner no matter where I go. Overall interior layout is good, but the materials used could be of better quality. The exterior body design can be summed up in two words mmmmm mmmmm

All of the reviews are correct. Great engine, good design, and a fine little vehicle for fun and top down days. I find myself hunting down Z-3s and Boxters and eating them up (legally of course) just because I can. Nissan put the money where it counts...in making it GO! 0-60 in a little under six. If you are concerned about visibility, put the top down.

This is a terrific car. The ride quality of the 04 is much, much better than the 03. The roadster is more fun than the coupe.

  • Beware - 2004 Nissan 350Z

What a fun car! It goes fast, looks good and it attracts attention. However: 1. The paint is poor quality. Faded quickly and had a few "stains" that the dealer couldnt get out. 2. The brakes and rotors needed to be replace at 30k miles (mostly hiway and hardly used) My Lexus coupe had 130k on the original brakes and still had 40% left on the front when I got rid of it. 3. Electronics: 3a-The auto transmission stopped shifting after a heavy rain. 3b-The auto-up windows go back down rather than stay up. 3c-The airbag sensor went out. 4. Tire wear is only fair. You can expect only 25-30k if you drive the car easy. But, it sure is fun to drive!

I just recently purchased this sporty car, and it has blown my expectations of performance right out of the water. It is sleek to the eye, ferfectly comfortable and a VERY fast little car. This car is for all who want to grip the road like a glove. Its fantastic.

I guess the first thing that sold me was the Design of the Exterior as well as the Interior. Then the performance of the Z was what I was looking for. Let me tell you this Car will bring the little boy out of you. When I researched the Ouality and Reliability then I was sold. I didnt even test drive the Car because I new it was what I wnated.

the car is fun to drive and drives well, however some of the interior isnt of the highest quality material. Overall well worth the sticker price when shopping comparables.

  • Great ride - 2004 Nissan 350Z

Great car overall. However, a few gripes: Grinding driver window not repaired properly. A tweeter that came from the factory already blown. A loose footrest. Not what youd expect from a $42K vehicle. A bit heavy for this segment. Still, for a car with this level of performance, it would be tough to beat 350Zs combo of power, handling, and price.

  • HMMM...Very nice - 2004 Nissan 350Z

Everything is unbelievably nice. One thing on the exterior I dont like is the back end doesnt look sporty enough...and its torque isnt as high as I want. But theres nothing that a turbo charger wont fix. lol

  • Wow Go Z - 2004 Nissan 350Z

I followed this car since it was only a future design I fell in love with it and compared it to the big boys, M-B, BMW, Porsche, and agreed with this website description of the Z car ( al lot of bang for the buck). This thing is fast and impressive in turns.
