  • Suspension issue - 2003 Nissan 350Z

Front-end suspension design issue is prevalent in the 350Z leading to excessive road noise and premature front tire wear.Technical Service Bulletin NTB03006. The problem is not alleviated by Nissans quick fix and must be addressed. Nissan has not returned my requests by email on whether the matter is being looked into.

  • I Love my Z and so does everyone else - 2003 Nissan 350Z

This car is a work of art. I fell in love with it at first sight and I knew I had to have it. Its affordable! My biggest problem is I drive it too much, Im racking up the miles.

  • Best Value in a Sports Car - 2003 Nissan 350Z

Ive had 3 Zs and this is the best. Performance is excellent; handling is as good as a Porsche and driving it is fun. The ride is harsh, but thats the way it is with a true sports car. The rear visibility is poor and the stock tires are terrible in wet or snowy weather, so you have to replace them with quality G/T sports car tires that have a good rating is wet weather. Terrific performance for the money.

  • Good, Bad, & Ugly - 2003 Nissan 350Z

The Good: - great handling - gutsy engine - great exterior design - fantastic engine note - supportive seats - what a bargain! - can steer with the GO pedal:) The Bad: - creaks and rattles with only 12000 miles - notchy shifter that needs a lesson or two from Honda - choppy ride - orange dash lighting screams "Pontiac" - chintzy interior plastics - rear visibility - touchy brakes The Ugly: - the absolute WORST stereo Ive heard outside of an AM radio; Nissan/Bose should be ashamed

  • Fun, but bumpy - 2003 Nissan 350Z
    By -

This is a very nice sport car dont get me wrong. It looks fast, it is fast, it takes off so quick I almost get whiplash everytime. It is a head turner too. But I have never had anything that is this bumpy and the rattles drive me insane. Ive had an S2000 and it wasnt this bad, and that thing had a super tight suspension. My Z rattles like it is falling apart, all along the dash, the center console, and if I am talking while driving it sounds like someone is thumping my chest. I have crammed things into seams and cracks to stop them, but its no use. But man is it fast.

  • What a sports car is all about - 2003 Nissan 350Z

Ive owned my car for over 6 years and purchased it new. It is a true drivers car with emphasis on going fast and doing it well. Practicality and comfort are afterthoughts. The trunk will take a reasonable amount of stuff, as long as you "pour" it around the strut brace. Its handling is very confidence inspiring and the car always eggs me on. Its like its always taunting me: "You know, you couldve taken that turn faster!" I recently replaced the OEM tires with BF Goodrich KDWs. Gas mileage plummeted, but grip is outrageous. The new tires turned my Z from a nice car to a race car. Engine is fantastic: incredibly reliable, predictable, smooth

  • Great car....bad tires. - 2003 Nissan 350Z
    By -

This car is an eye-catcher and gets all sorts of inquiries...."How fast have you had it?" being the front- runner. The only problem Ive had in the 8 mos. Ive owned, the front tire noise. Had it shipped from TX and right off the truck, it sounded like the rotors were grinding gravel and destroying the brakes. Dealer recommended switching the tires from the initial Potenzas to Mich Pilots (like the Infiniti G35 coupe uses) ... presto! ... problem went away and the drive was 10x better. Cost $230/tire plus labor, fortunately Nissan issued a recall and reimbursed me for this issue.

the car is beautiful on the outside and fun to drive with good power and an extremely good manual transmission. interior a bit on the cheesy side but you have to cut somewhere to get that much car for that little money. would definately reccomend to sports car enthusiast on somewhat of a budget
